Dear Dinelle,
I pray that God will give you the strength & wisdom that you need through His grace to get through each trial as you seek Him! I am not a sinlge parent technically (so I can't say I know exactly what your going through), but do to certin situations, I feel as if I could be a single parent. My husband has move to Green Bay, WI and my son & I over by Eau Claire, WI (on the other side of the state).
When I am going through a rough patch and feel all alone some of the scriptures that I have found comforting is: (using the New King James Version = NKJV) Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." , Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.", and Galatians 6:9 " And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." I keep telling myself and others It will be worth it all when we see Christ!
My prayers are with you.

Hi Dinelle!
I feel you girl. I am also a single parent of a six year-old. I love him dearly. The trials are gonna keep coming honey, you just have to stop, analyze them and ask god to help you pass whatever test that he is putting before you gracefully. Cause if you don't pass it, you will keep going through it until you do. I ask that you pray for me also as I pray for you.
In Christ,
Esther

Hi Dinelle, My name is Charmel I just wanted to tell you that I know that its hard to do but you need to try and let go and give it to God. Remember that God gives you only what you CAN handle. I know it may be hard but all you have to do is call his name and he is there for you. I was a single parent for 4 years, my son's father was a married man. I felt so alone, frustrated and confused. Then one day I packed up my son, and I moved from New york (I lived there all my life) to Virginia. I found God, a husband and now I have a beautiful Daughter. God puts people (good or bad) or Obstacles in your path for a reason. I feel that God has a beautiful plan for you and he is just setting you up for that plan. (I hope I am making sense to you). The closer you get to God, the more the devil is going to try and get at you. Just remember God has a plan for everyone. I will pray for you and I hope I have helped you in some way. God Bless You.

Dinelle, that's so horrible! I can't believe a teacher thought it would be ok to say something like that! Especially when there are so many single moms out there, doing a darn good job of raising their kids. I hope everything works out soon. God bless, and make sure you take some time for you!!! If you ever need someone to chat with, feel free to message me anytime.

Hang in there hon. It does get hard and we face many trails in life at all different times. We may not understand it at the time, but God has reasons for every trail we face. He has a plan for you and it is just in the works. I will be praying for you and your child. I hope whatever it is you are going through gets better. Again hang in there and keep smiling.

God be with you. I know it's hard and, while I have a husband, because he is so busy I have sometimes felt like a single mom. It is a struggle. Just remember God is always with you. Cry out to Him. I will be praying for you. Just remember, although it seems to be trial upon trial, God is helping you in, through, and around each one. They all will pass away, but God will not. God bless you!

Dinelle,
I believe that satan's biggest tool against us is us...when we turn our eyes from the Lord he just keeps shooting thoughs arrows of dout at us and when we start turning to the Lord he trys to use bigger arrows...But we have the armor of ther Lord to protect us.
Ephesians 6:11 Put on God's Whole armor, that you may be able SUCCESSFULLY to stand up against all the strategies and the deciets of the devil...Ephesians 6 is great when your feeling like your under attach... Ihope this helps I will keep you in my prayers Let us know how you are doing

I absolutly love that book.
Quoting Crystal:
I will pray for you! One of the things that I have learned from Captivating is that since the fall of mankind, woman's greatest fear is abandonment. And Satan knows it. He also has a special hatred for woman. He will use this fear against us any chance he gets. Don't give in to him!!! Know that God loves you. He is your great warrior, and has promised to smite your enemies! And he will never leave you. When you feel alone, ask him to show you that he is there and he will. Everytime. The other day, I was having a horrible day. I was tired, frustrated with my children and angry beyond belief. I thought I was going to have a breakdown. All of a sudden my daughter (almost 7) came down the stairs, gave me a big hug, and said, "Don't worry, mommy. God said 'Come unto me and I will give you rest'" If that's not God working in an amazing way I don't know what is.
You're in my prayers. Know that you're not alone, even tho sometimes it feels like it. Love in Christ,
Crystal

Dinelle, I will add you to our church prayer list. It is so hard to be a single mom doing it all on your own. Praise God that He is there to help carry your load. Please pray for us as well. My husband and I are just finishing getting our foster care license. We will be adding more children to our family! God's blessings on you today.

Hi Dinelle,
I will be praying for you and keep your chin up mate, easier said than done, I know. Just remember that when 2 or 3 are gathered in prayer and remember with faith as small as a mustard seed. God knows your dreams, desires and your needs. While we are all scattered across the globe, know that you have women here that truly care for you and your situation. Take care Dinnelle, please feel free to msg me etc anytime.

I know sometimes you may have the weight of the world on your shoulders and you feel no one is there to help bare the burdon. I am hear to tell you that FAITH is a very POWERFUL tool to have. Pray to God and ask him WITHOUT DOUBT and you shall be blessed. I tell you this from personal experience. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and remember Phillipians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ".
God Bless,

I was a single mom from the time I found out I was pregnant with my first child until she turned 5. I remember as if it were yesterday - feeling lonely, inadequate, etc. Especially when I had to tell someone that I was a single parent. I built up a lot of anger and resentment against society during that time that I am still dealing with 2 years later. God is working in my life, tho, and he is working in yours. If you read, try Captivating by John and Stasi Elderidge. I am reading that one again, I find it very helpful and comforting to know that what I am feeling is NORMAL and common among women. I also take great comfort in many of the promises God made us. To provide (and he does!!!), to carry us thru, to always be there. One scripture that I find especially comforting says that there is no temptation except that which is common to man. I have to look up exactly where that is - I'll let you know. That scripture means that literally there is nothing that I can experience that someone else hasn't and that He understands and is there for me. I still have many days where the only way I get thru with my sanity intact is to be in constant prayer, and by listening to his gentle (and sometimes not so gentle) nudges. They come in different, unexpected ways, but they are there. I hope I didn't ramble on too much, I guess my point is that God cares and he is there for you. Trust in Him and you will do fine.

God Bless you honey. You are not alone God said He will never leave you nor forsake you. He loves you and sees your struggles, your heart ache and you pain. Sometimes these things come to draw us closer to Him. Take advantage of this time to pray and pour your heart out before Him. He desires a relatonship with you. Trust Him and never doubt. He loves you and will take care of you.
