So far my husband is getting a few drafting jobs at home, but we are having to wait longer than I thought to get paid. God is taking care of us. Today we had a setback with our 2 year old going to the doctor after she had a seizure. Luckily the Dr. said she would bill us. Thanks to all of you for your continued prayer.

Thank you all for praying for us. So far he has been given drafting jobs to do at home from another company.. I am very thankful and hopeful these will continue. I wanted to return to work, but my daughter's therapists think it may be to hard for her to adjust. She has developmental delays and high sensory disorder. I am just taking it one day at a time.

Hi,
I know how you feel. Years ago everytime we went on vacation we would come home to my husband losing his job. It was very hard on us for years as we raised 6 kids.
I know it is easier to say than do but keep your trust in the Lord and he will provide for you.
and your family.
pray for your needs not wants and watch him work it out. It is an amazing thing to witness.
I will pray for you.

I'll pray for you all. The very thought of job loss can be extremely scary. God has a plan and though none of us knows exactly what that plan is, HE has a plan for your family. God never turns HIS back on us.

Be specific in your prayers to God about this entire ordeal. HE knows your heart and I would suggest you include a family prayer time so you all can come together and pray about this. The prayers of children are heard loud and clear also.

Please keep us updated. Like I said, I will pray for your family. ♥

My husband was the highest paid drafter and was asked to come to work there 3 years ago. His boss didn't manage money well and decided that my husband made to much to keep him.

Hi Tamyra: It is a scary thing when we don't see where the next pay cheque is coming from. There were times in my own home that I had to look at the bills and choose which ones to pay part of and which ones had to wait until next time... whenever that was. It wasn't that long ago too. Now, we are not as financially strapped, but I am mindful that every day that we have all the bills paid is a blessing!

That's a strange reason for your husband losing his job, but I think it's something to think about. What did his boss mean by he makes too much money? I know that when a door closes, a window opens, or even another door to something better. Perhaps this is something to think about as well. Maybe your husband can look into starting his own business, freelancing, or even joining another company that's a better fit for him and your family.

The main thing is to not hide your feelings or believe that you always have to be strong. With teenagers you can't pretend or keep them out of the issue. This is a family situation and it will make your family closer and stronger. Everyone has to work together to relieve the overall stress of the situation.

I will pray for you that you find comfort and that you recognize the answers God sends your way. God loves you and your family and this too shall pass.
