My baby, Olivia was born prematurely at 29 weeks. She was in NICU for 2 months which she survived well and had a clean bill of good health. After 1 week, I was told she has ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) that she may go blind!
Both the eyes has ROP, her left eye retina is already partially detached and her right eye is already detached.
She is now 6 and a half months old, 4 months adjusted and she hasn't been able to focus or even respond whenever I am standing in front of her or when I put my face in front of her.
I want to pray for a miracle that her eyes will be restored and will have vision. I have been praying everyday and every hour desperately for the call of God. I know she is already a miracle that God had sewn in my womb and I almost lost her a couple of times as I had a lot of heavy bleeding. And now it's another challenging journey I am going through and I am feeling so so sick and depressed right now that I just feel like throwing up all the time.
I can't imagine my daughter being blind and I am so so worried that she will have a dark future. PLEASE God, it is written in the bible that you open the eyes of the blind. Please open the eyes of Olivia. We give you all glory and grace and thanks. You are a merciful and a graceful God and we know you hear our prayers.
Please help me pray for Olivia's eyes to be restored, her to have vision and her retina's to be attached back to her eyes.
In Jesus name, AMEN
