This is an e-mail that was sent to me by my mom:

This is chilling!

In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a

"National Day of Prayer."

In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.

In June 2007,

(then) Presidential candidate Barack Obama declared that the

USA was no longer a Christian nation.

This year President Obama, canceled the

21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White

House under the rouse of "not wanting to offend anyone"

On September 25, 2009 from 4 am until 7 pm, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion was held on Capitol Hill,

beside the White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims that day in DC

I guess it doesn't matter if "Christians" are offended by this event - we obviously

don't count as "anyone" anymore.

The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian.

Especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be

converted they should be annihilated

This is not a rumor -

Go to the website

to confirm this info:

Pay particular attention to the very bottom of the page:

"OUR TIME HAS COME"

I hope that this information will stir your spirit.

The words of 2 Chronicles 7:14

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray,

and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven

and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

We must pray for our nation, our communities, our families, and especially our children.

They are the ones that are going to suffer the most if we don't PRAY!

May God have mercy...IN GOD WE TRUST.

Please pass this on, maybe someone, somehow can figure out a way to put America back on the map as it was when we were growing up, a safe place to live and by the Ten Commandments and Pledge of Allegiance, etc!

"Our nation is also falling apart with all the happenings these past few years causing racial tension being the worst of them,"

I could not agree more but racial tension has not just been happening just the last few years. Racial tension has been happening since europeans colonize the world and said white is the best nothing else matters so maybe the europeans need to change the ideology of that and but racist people of every kind in their places.

Lindsay, I agree with you, Prayer is what our nation needs. I am not sure if this was the same day you are talking about in the e-mail you received, but there was a day of Muslim prayer that really amounted to less than 10,000 Muslims be present. I truly believe that the reason it was such a small number is because there were Christians all over the nation Praying for the outreach opportunity that day held for Christian organizations to present the Gospel to the Muslim community.

I like Heather do not mean to be rude or to offend you. I only mentioned this because it spoke to me about the Importance To Pray For Our Nation.

Whether or not it is declared as a day of prayer or not, we shall continue to pray.
Our nation is also falling apart with all the happenings these past few years causing racial tension being the worst of them, South Africa needs prayer, America Needs prayer, The whole Christian community needs prayer, and that we shall do, we continue to pray, no matter what is put before us, and we shall not deny our God!!

I just wanted to add that I wasn't trying to appose you... the Bible does tell us to pray for our leaders. I'm sorry if I came across rude... :(

1 Timothy 2:1-2
First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

We shouldn't be surprised by this. The Bible tells us that being a Christian will be one of the worst things on earth in the end, and that the time is coming soon...

John 15:19

"If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

2 Timothy 3:12

Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

Satan doesn't want us to have a day of prayer. He doesn't want us to have the ten commandments and pledge of allegiance. Satan's purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy. He will do everything in his power to silence us, but Jesus has already beat him. The battle has already been won!

Mark 13:13

" You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
