please, i need all the prayers and advice i can get. i am a single mom and im falling behind this year on bills.

I know exactly what that is like, although I'm not a single mother. I sometimes feel like it though because my husband is gone most of the time. I stay home with my children and we sometimes fall behind on our bills. I purchased Total Money Makeover book and workbook by Dave Ramsey. It has helped me so much by helping me to understand money and how it works. Everyone thinks that is easy but boy was I wrong. I learned a lot. And it takes a lot of self control to make it work for you. I made a budget so i will know exactly what it takes to pay all the bills and buy groceries, etc for each month and make sure I have enough left over for those emergencies that may arise. I make a menu so I have all meals planned for the month and then a list when I go shopping and stick to what's on my list and refuse to buy anything that is not. That helps me to control my spending and not splurge on the outfit that I think my daughter just has to have. Let me know if I can help more. I'll be praying for you as well.

Hi Ashlee,
Good for you for reaching out! I already prayed that God will give you what you need. I know that it is hard to do,but I sometimes will call the folks that I know will shut off utilities etc and try to work out something. Usually, this is best. Then they know you are trying! write back and we can talk more.
