Hi, my name is Angela, and I am asking for prayer for a friend of mine from church named Melissa Jackson. She is a 32year old single mother with a 7year old son and a 10 year old daughter. She became ingaged to a wonderful man named Lance in December of 2008. In October of 2008 she went in and had a tumor removed from around her spine which turned out to be cancer. I do not know the name of the cancer but it is very aggressive, and has a very small survival rate. She began treatments soon after the diagnosis. In December they found out that the tumor was back, and she had another opperation to remove it. This time, they took some bone, and cartiledge as well. She recently went to MD Anderson in Houston where they began treating the cancer very aggressively. She was having two radiation treatments a day, and chemo every other day. She recently came back home to a local hospital where they told her she only has two weeks to live. She is a wonderful inspiring person who is on fire for God. Through all this she has had a very positive oputlook, because she knows that through prayer, she can be healed. I am asking that everyone pray for this wonderful woman. I believe that the more prayers we have the better her chance of a miracle from God. Thanks you all so much. I will keep you updated.
