I have a friend. She is only been married for 2 yrs and has a son. Her husband has decided that he can't stand to look at her and has left her. She wants her marriage to work. And wants him to go to couseling. One day he says he will and then next he want. There is alot more to the story. But I just want people to pray for them . They are both young. They were really too young to marry. And everyone told them not to get married so young and said they would fail. So right now she feels like a failer. I know only being married for 3 yrs myself that eveyday me and my husband have to work at it. Me and my husband know we have to put are all into it. If one doesn't then there is problems. My friend goes to church and firmly believes that once you are married you stay married. So she doesn't want to get a lawyer, even though the husband is doing some cruel things. She thinks getting a lawyer is saying she wants her marriage to fail. Please pray for her and that the Lord will show her what to do.

Father, please help this family. Help them to know you. Show them how to love each other. Give them wisdom and strength.

I pray they will allow God to work in each of them. I pray God will touch your friend's heart and direct her in what His will is in her life and marriage. I pray God will strengthen you as an intercessor of prayer.

Emily we pray that the Lord will perfect that situation and give her perfect peace,that his will may be done, coz his will may not be comfortable for us naturally, but it is always the best deal.

Dearest Emily, I will definately keep this family in our prayers and with my Christian church family. remember, no matter what age someone gets married (first and foremost) .. it does not always work out. I remember being Catholic (a long time ago) and knowing I could not get a divorce and I experienced exactly what your friend is going through and my kids were 2 and 5....and I was being told awful things about myself by him.. like I was worthless and ugly and stupid... (this was in the late 1990's.. I am 46 now) one day I read in the bible somewhere..and/ or was talking to our Priest and was told that "in the event" that a marriage has any sort of abuse, adultery, and a couple of other things... that the divorce could be granted. I think the last thing was the husband not financially supporting the family.



oh well, nevertheless.... my new husband of 5 years and I were both married prior to our relationship to abusive spouses. we have his 2 boys, my 2 teens and our daughter,.. and both he and I experienced really awful ex spouses that did the same thing to us.. granted we are both incredible human beings with a ton of love... but, sometimes, people in our lives dont want to follow God, dont want to have agape, they just want the world and worldly ways and the only way to have that is to destroy what they have that is good. If you continue to try and make things work.. which JC and I both did in our prior relationships.. it makes things worse and even worse for the kids.... sometimes things just dont work out. and you have to move on.



JC and I have been with each other and known each other for 7 years, our former spouses constantly interfere in our lives. Thank God for our Christian faith to get us thru.... you see, even if you want a family to stay together, it is not always going to happen... sometimes people/couples are not meant to be together and if you continue to try, it destroys the child. Our children experience horrible affairs at the hands of their other parents because those exes can not let go, they are not Christian and want worldy chaos at all times.



I will pray for wisdom for this friend.... I will pray that the Lord guides her... but remind her that she needs to pray too and "ask" for God's guidance... if we don't hear Him, then we will never fullfill our Journey.... you are a great friend ! God Bless You!

Thank you all for praying. And Jane, I am praying for your brother's family too. LORD GOD, I COME TO YOU TODAY ASKING YOU TO PRAY FOR JANE'S BROTHER'S FAMILY. YOU KNOW THEIR PROBLEMS. JUST LIFT THEM UP AND HELP THEM AND GUIDE THEM LORD. JUST LET YOUR WILL BE DONE. IN JESUS NAME i PRAY AMEN.

I feel the same way you do,except this is with my brothers family. They married very young 16 teen and 17 teen they have 2 boys 14&8yrs old.(they are married 18 years)There has been alot of cruel things done there to. There has been a divorecd filed there.(from my understanding, just recently) I ask everyone to pray for them to see how wonderful God is in our lives,and the many blessings he places there. Would you pray for guidence, peace and the rememberence of the beginning of when they fell in love. Let me pray right now for your friend, LORD GOD I PRAY FOR EMILY'S FRIEND THAT YOU WILL PLACE ON HER HEART WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE . I PRAY FOR GUIDENCE FOR HER AND HER FAMILY THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TOGETHER BY YOU. LORD THROUGH YOUR UNFAILING LOVE WE TRUST YOU TO GUIDE US. I will keep your friend and her husband in my prayers. I know how hard it is to keep a marriage together sometimes. I admire her loyalty to the sanctity of marriage, and your loyalty to her.

I am praying Emily. Tell her sometimes Christians have to battle, even go to war. That should appeal to her being so young/warrior mentality we all feel when young. I praise GOD she is so dedicated to Christ, but Jesus knows sometimes we have to do very hard, even ugly, legal things. Pat Robertson said abuse and adultery are reasons Christians can divorce. But we don't know details, only they do, and GOD. We are praying for them. Thanks for getting prayers for them, that is powerful! You will see a move, I feel it! :D Be blessed for being such a great friend. Loyalty is kinda rare these days.
