Prayer request

My husband heard a rumor yesterday that he was going to be fired. He called his boss and asked about it and it turns out that it was true. He was hired on at a higher rate than everyone else and than the guy that hired him got moved to a different department. The new guy doesn't think he is affordable. So they are contemplating whether or not to keep him and they are going to make the decision soon, because he was hired in February and if they let him go before next February they don't have to pay him unemployment... This would be terrible for our family financially, however, my husband has just been crying out to God in a way I have never seen in the last 12 hours. Which has me kind of praising God for this. I totally trust God to take care of our family no matter what happens, but I would love it if you would join me in prayer for the situation. I feel like God wants our family somewhere else, and I have no doubt that we will make it through any situation together. But I am dealing with some fear that I need prayer for as well, as I have never had to deal with anything like this before. He has always had a stable job. Thanks in advance.

Hi Heather,
I will be praying for you. Lean on him totally. I had a simular situation. I moved into an apartment in February and in September of 1995 the asame year, I was fired from my job. Not knowing how it was going to happen. I was not sure how I was going to pay the bills. My parents helped when they could. So it all worked out. I kept looking for job after job and getting frustrated I was praying and the Lord said stop looking for jobs and lean on me and I did and a few moths later I got a day care job as an assistant teacher and loved it. Waiting on the Lord was hard when you have bills to pay and do not know where the money would come from. My unemployment check stoped and my credit card was getting too high for me and that is why I was so frustated. No health insurance. But the Lord came through as always. Sometimes I would get money from friends in womens aglow and church and the Lord carried me through. I just had to put my trust in himand wait, pray and listen. God bless you. I will be praying for you and your husband. Love and peace always. Love ya.

Hi Heather....remember greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world...also that when God opens a door only he can close pray is that your family stay close to God and keep remembering what you said that God will take care of you...we have to remember that even if God don't do what we want Him to do that He can do it...that faith will open doors...I don't know Gods plans for you all this may only be a test of faith and as long as you all endure you will prevail. However this maybe a door God is closing only to open another with a better blessing. Either way give God the glory pray and walk with your head held high God will take care of you
Praying with you. God bless, Mecca Harris love you!
