Prayer Request Shoulder Surgery Aug. 17, 2011.

I get a nerve block for my back ever 8 weeks so I would have most likely had this one work. But I must say that this was a VERY BIG BOOST to my FAITH IN GOD and his hand of Mercy and Healing. About 9"30 our MI time I called my sister-in-law in CO. She is a Prayer Warrior like no other. She Prayed over me on the phone and with in 15 minutes the I has calmed down and the pain stated to ease. Yes one could say that may coincidence. BUT KNOW IT WAS A GOD THING!!!!!!

Just an fyi--I have had numerous nerve blocks--were they using it for a pain management, or anesthetic? Doesn't work for me, but my daughter has had a series and is doing fine.

Anyway, rest, take care of yourself, and get back here when you can. We miss you!

Yes everything did go well. I opted to NOT Have the nerve block for the shoulder. For my right shoulder 2 summers ago I was told it would be dangerous to have the nerve block.
So I opted out for the Left Shoulder. WEll I am not sure if it was the "Right" decision because of the extra pain, but the worst is over and on the bright side of this, I was and did PRAISE GOD for His Hand of Mercy being on my life.

I learned to talk, according to my mom, from watching commercials. I guess I never got over paying more attention to the commercials than the shows ;)

Sometimes God does what He needs to in order to let us understand that He is really with us, and not to fear. You just gotta love God!

Will be praying for you tomorrow, sweetheart, although it sounds like you are in Good Hands. Like Allstate, you KNOW you are in Good Hands.

Good Morning, I just wanted to share with you something that happened in our Church Yesterday Morning.

Because I am having Shoulder Surgery on Wednesday I was Anointed during the Morning Service. I have a history of issues with surgery and wanted to avoid 5 days in Cardiac ICU if I can avoid doing so. In our church when some one is Anointed our Pastor invites family and friends to the Alter to Pray with the person being Anointed. It was so wonderful to have over half a dozen Women that are close friends and my husband Pray with and for me. Our daughters were not in town.

When we got back to our seats Our Music Minister had just talked about God Pouring out the Healing Rain. It had been raining off and on all morning. WELL In JUST ONE SPOT Oh I "HAPPENED" to be sitting in that VERY SPOT in the church when the ceiling started to Leak ON MY HEAD! We moved chairs out of the way so they would not be rained on. BUT several people sitting next to me Commented on God Really Sending"The Healing Rain" down on me. I have to say with these two experiences and the Prayers of family and Friends I have a very Deep Peace about the out come of this surgery. Thank You in Advance for keeping me in your Prayers.
