My daughter (8.5 months) refuses to drink any formula milk (we're trying to wean her from the breast). She doesn't seem to like the taste? Any ideas out there on how to get her to drink formula?

We had to switch my son from breastmilk to a hypoallergenic formula at 2 months when he suddenly broke out in an unexplained rash. We had to do it cold turkey because we didn't know what he was allergic to. At first, it would take an hour to get him to drink 2 ounces of formula, but once he got hungry and realized there wasn't anything else coming, he started drinking the formula. We also got him the Soothie bottles, which were shaped like his pacifier, and that helped. I definitely think that slowly mixing the breastmilk and formula is a better way to go, just want to encourage you that she will eventually make the switch.

my daughter was the samy way i just continued till she was 11.5 months then gave her real milk. the formula she would spit out, puke up, everything. so i just kept up feeding.
whichi know isn't always feezable with every mom...

Maybe try mixing your milk with the formula and slowly add less and less until she gets use to the formula. I will keep you in my prayers

cut your pumped breastmilk with water and formula. If you wanted to feed her 4oz, do two of form and two of BM. (I would started with 1 part form and 3parts bm) and slowly increase the form and decrease the BM
