I have been saved for 4 years. I have 3 kids at home. I am married. I was reading about some of the moms who don't feel like they have the time to spend with God like would too. I also have the same problem. I also don't hang out with the people I used to be with. Its hard to find friends who share your same desire to grow in the Lord. Any suggestions?

Have you tried going to mops.com and see if they have a mops group in your area or do you have a home church were they have a youth program were you can get to know some of the moms there...BTW were do you live there might be some one on here that lives in your area that can help!!! I will keep you in my prayers that the Lord will bring some one into your life that you can build a Christ like relationship with

I'll second everything Heather said. I met some of my friends at church, in a ministry for families with children with special needs. Also, I met many wonderful women at BSF, a women's international, non-denominational bible study. I also meet friends through my son. He's very outgoing, and I often end up being friends with the parents of his friends. My neighborhood ladies play Bunco once a month, which also helped me meet new friends when I moved here. Not all my friends are Christian, but I think sometimes those friendships strengthen my faith even more than my Christian friendships do.

It is so hard for many of us to find Christian friends. The best thing to do is to get involved at church. Join a Womens Bible study, or some other kind of small group. You are on the right path just by asking it shows your desire to draw closer to God. Ask him to guide you in the process. We are so glad to have you in our community here. We are all sisters in Christ. I know that isn't as good as face to face, but you can message any of us personally if you have something you don't want to share with the group.
