The Little Gift Idea- Life Changing stop by

So it's a matter of recording life's gifts and blessings in a little notebook as these things happen? Don’t many of us already do that in a diary or journal? I like to keep a journal as an art journal as well, decorating my entries. But the words are always more important than the pictures to me.
Where does the "gift" aspect of it come in (apart from identifying the gifts you receive yourself). Do we then give the notebook to somebody else? Or is our whole joie de vivre itself our "gift" to other people? By that I mean does the act of recognising our gifts and blessings and making a note of them give rise to a person being more positive, a joy to be around etc ....
Not sure whether the "gift" is tangible or impalpable!

Angela, hope this helps. "This year one of my gifts to friends and family is a dare to live fully right where you are by taking the little moments as well as the big moments and doing something powerful with them. Write them down! We must believe that all these little fleeting moments are what make up life. Therefore, we must stop letting them slip by. Yes, this little notepad and challenge is the perfect gift! You will soon discover that your life will be transformed as you jot down those thankful moments." from the article, the 1st paragraph. It also quotes Ann Voskamp from the book 1000 Gifts which is how this idea was inspired. At the end of the article it shares how to embellish your own 1000 Gifts Journal.
