Hello again to you all!  It's been a while since I've updated you about my cousin!  Lincoln got to come home last week!  Everyone is so excited and praising God!  He's still only eating 10 cc of milk every three hours (that's not quite a tbsp).  He's also on an IV line called a TPN which gives his body the vitamins and things he needs.  We don't know how long he'll be on it, but the doctors project about a year....they also said Lincoln would be in the hospital for a year and he came home after about 5 weeks!  He is still on the transplant list, though the doctors don't think he will need one after all!  Lincoln truly is a miracle and we are just praising God that He has heard our prayers and seen the tears we've cried and has spared this precious little one to us!  Thank you all once again for all your support.  It means so much to us!

Amazing!!! Our heavenly father is THE BEST ! It is so wonderful to hear what Our Creator is doing in for little Lincoln & as a result in the lives of everyone around him. Cant stop singing his praise! May the Lord always keep his loving ,protective hand over this little child.Will keep praying for your family. Will ask God to give them his strength to hold on & keep going forward coz HE is fighting their battle & & nothing can ever beat God. Lots of love to little Lincoln from me & my family.God bless his parents.

Lincoln's bowels are functioning again and they have taken his feeding tube out to see how he does eating on his own.  He's gained half a pound too, and all his doctors just scratch their heads and say he must not have been as sick as they had thought!  Isn't God just amazing?  He will still probably need to take in some nourishment from the feeding tube until after he's a year old to supplement his fat stores while he's a baby, but just keep praying for him and my family.  They are getting weary of being 3 hours away from home in a hospital.

Dear Amber, I am new to the site and I MUST say that God used you to encourage my heart. I have been struggling with my walk,just getting hit up the side of the head by Satan himself and you have brought back to my spirit the whole truth about praying to our living God. PTL for HIS faithfulness and I will remember Lincoln in prayer myself!!!!

Thanks once again for all your prayers and support!  It means the world to us all that strangers would stand beside us and care and pray as you have.  (Someday we'll all stand together in heaven...praise God...we'll know each other then!)  Lincoln had a bowel movement yesterday which means he's healing and his intestines are doing their job!  He's still got a long road of recovery ahead, but it's so very encouraging and we just continue praying that he'll be able to eat on his own and his body will be able to take in the nourishment he needs without the feeding tube to supplement.

A nurse had commented that she simply would not believe that he was the baby everyone said was so close to death.  God is a mighty, merciful God!  Praise His name!

Our GOD is an AWESOME GOD!!! I will most definitely pray for God to continue to keep his hand over little Lincoln & to deliver him completely. I will also keep everyone involved in prayer, especially his parents.....I identify with them completely.I only saw your prayer request today, I believe God wanted me to see it After HE had intervened becoz he wanted to reassure me ,lift my spirit & show me that he does indeed answer prayers.I have been praying for 3 yrs for my 4yr old son who has been suffering from an undiagnosed  degenerative metabolic  disorder since he was 18months old & has left him completely immobile like an infant.

I am so thankful &gratefull for you're amazing testimony.......so encouraging!! Lincoln is a true blessing. May God give his parents the strength to hold on & believe.May he bless them with his peace.They will be in my prayers.

  Theres is no stronger prayer than a mothers prayer....And with this many mom's praying for Lincoln nothing had a chance to stick to him so Praise God and just remember all of these mom's are still praying

Boy, do I have a testimony to tell you all!  Last Thursday night the doctors were suggesting taking Lincoln off life support.  They said he did not have enough bowels left to live on his own and that he wouldn't make it until he could get a transplant.  They did end up leaving a little of his small intestine...the most important part that absorbs the nutrients into the body (forget the name), but it was badly damaged and dying.  His daddy asked us all to pray that God would somehow make there be enough intestine left for him to live.

Friday at noon Lincoln had another surgery to see how things looked.  The doctors came back amazed.  They said everything was bright pink and thriving and there was MORE bowel than they had "thought" there was the day before...did you catch that?  God worked a MIGHTY miracle for us!

Now the doctors are hoping that he will have enough to not need a transplant at all and will probably be able to absorb most of his nutrients normally with the feeding tube as a supplement at the very least for a while...we're praying that God will touch him so he won't need it at all and can be a happy, normal little boy!

Thank you all SO much for praying for someone you don't even know!  God is SO good!  How I praise His Blessed name!

Today they took LIncoln off the ventilator and he's breathing completely on his own and his parents got to hold him today!  They are so thrilled!  We all are just rejoicing in the God of our salvation!

  You just keep that song in your heart because he never will forsake us as it says He doesn't make mistakes.  We may not understand what he is doing and that is were are trust in him is tested the most.  But hHe does all things for his good...Let him be glorified in all that he does.

My goodness I will definatly be praying for all the parties involved.  Its hard being a mommy or daddy of a sick baby especially if there is nothing you can do.  Ive been there feeling totally helpless so I know how she feels.  Send them our love and prayers.  God Bless

We will be praying as well. I almost died along with my son when I gave birth to him. Since then he has many health problems. I feel for your aunt and uncle, and will pray for them as well as Little Lincoln. God Is able!!

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers.  I know God is able to do anything!  And He is SO good!  I just wanted to update everyone again on the situation. 

Little Lincoln in on life support and they have removed all of his small intestine. He's currently stable, but the next 36 hours are very critical.  He needs a bowel transplant and if he makes it through that, will eventually need a liver transplant also.  No words can describe how hard my uncle and aunt are taking all this.  They really need the peace of God right now.  All I know is that God gave me this song earlier when I was praying:

Sweety you need to remember one thing and one thing only you have ONE GREAT BIG GOD on your side and all things are possible when you let him be in charge...The next thing is you have a whole banned of mothers praying for this baby and there is nothing more powerful than a mothers prayer....We will keep all of you in our prayers and just remember to trust that God is in control.

  Prayer is the easy part...The waiting is the hard part.  So as far as that part I will pray for you and the family that he will give all of the peace you can handle.  Just remember fo sit still and feel his grace!!!
