Hello,

I am glad to be apart of this ministry and can't wait to get to know you all . i have a millon questions and don't know where to start. I can start with a prayer request I need prayer for direction for my hubby and at the beginning of the year he might have a job in arizona for a year and we might have to move . That is going to be hard for me I have not been away from my family in 30 years and the kids either i have 4 altogather a 16 year old step-son isaac and then 7 year old son elisha next samuel6 then last but not least lilly at the great age of 3. weel i hope i get to hear from you soon ..alisha porter:)

Hello Alisha,
I am new to this Christian mommies group. I am married to a wonderful man name Glen. We have been married for 29 years and together we have 5 children. 4 of them are girls Ashanti 29, Avril 26, Atindra 23 and Atasha 21, and then God blessed us with our adopted son who is 9 years old. I live in a Country named Belize and it is really neat to link up with women from other parts of the world. I know that moving is difficult because we have to move out of our familiar surroundings to places that we know little or nothing about. We are seperated from family and friends and everything that we are used to, however sometimes God does things like these that we can also be a blessing unto others outside our circle. Welcome Alisha! I will pray for your family. It's great to meet you. I have 4 kids too, but all of them are young. I have a 7 year old son, a 4 year old son, and twin girls that are 22 months.

Hi Alisha, I want to welcome you to Christian Mommies. I have 2 grown daughters one 25 and one 21. Even though I am on the other side of mothering, I have enjoyed getting to know the moms in this community. Regardless of age or number of children we all have one thing in common we Love God and want to live our lives in a way that is Pleasing to Him.
