Pray for them that they will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Stay in God's Word and try not to get discouraged for nothing is impossible to God. Continue to walk in the ways of the Lord and show them the love of God. Let the love of God shine through you.

Hello Griseida ! My name is Carolee. I would say continue to love on them and SHINE Talk to them in a way that is relevant and understandable . When Jesus spoke he always told stories that were relevant to the people he was speaking to . The power of what Jesus says is not in His phraseology . What He says has power because it is supernatural truth .There are so many other ways to say" whatever a man sows that is what he will reap" These principals even unsaved people use in their lives .Talk with them about the "ways of wisdom" doing what is the best for their lives and pursuing" true happiness " These are the kinds of things that God would talk with the about . You can be His presence in their lives for now :D Carolee

Thank you so much for your reply to my question. I became a born again Christian in 1996 and I will never ever turn back to the way I way living... this world is not my home I'm just passing thru,if heaven's not my home then Lord what would I do!! My husband and I have raised 5 children and have 6 beautiful grandbabies and 1 on the way, and I tell you the truth if it had not been for the Lord on my side tell me where would I be? Lost and lonely  that is where I would be. It is HIS grace that carries me thru it all . Praise HIS name. thank you so much again for your reply. I have prayed and prayed for all my children. to be saved and santified filled with the Holy Ghost.

I would imagine you would do the same thing that you would do if you became a christian and your husband didn't accept that.

1 Peter 31:1 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 5For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Obviously this highlights a husband/wife relationship, but I think it highlights an eternal truth. Just live your new faith (your relationship with Chirst) to the fullest, and they much prayer "they may be won over without words by your behavior."

Congratulations!
Your sister in Christ,
Jamie

I don't know where you stood before you became a Christian (i.e. did you have a certain faith other than Christian, or were you athiest or agnostic). It may actually be more difficult if you followed a different faith, such as Judaism, than if you claimed no belief at all.
At any rate, the best advice that I know to give is this; live a Christian life, and your actions will speak volumes more than any words you might say. Right now they are probably not going to want to hear about your newfound faith, although I can only imagine how much you want to share it with them. But actions speak louder than words, and the definition of Christian is "Christ-like". Live by the lessons He gave us, and then should one or more of your children ask you about your Christian faith, answer in a way that does not sound judgemental of them. I often choose to begin my sentences with the words, "For me..." when I am speaking to someone who is walking a line of belief/nonbelief. That way, they don't feel backed into a corner or put down, and they are much more willing to listen.
Christ lived His life as a perfect example of His teachings. He loved all people, no matter, and had mercy on thieves and prostitutes. Why? Because we are ALL sinners, and He died for those sins.
Welcome to the wonderous blessing of enlightenment into Christianity; it is a gift that will sustain you, challenge you, fortify you, and take you to new levels of growth and passion that you never knew were possible. God bless you on your journey, and may He enlighten you regarding your children. He understands your position very well; we are His children, and many do not accept Him.
