why is god taking my career from me?

Hi Kelly, I don't know what God's plans are for you but you did the right thing when you exposed these paedophiles.



"And whoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea." (Mark 9:42).



Sinners of all kinds hate to have their sin exposed - particularly when they're guilty of a shameful attack on innocent children. Wives, parents, families and even (sometimes) the victims themselves will be complicit in the deceit and cover-up because of a wish to preserve the "good name" of a person close to them - especially a relative.



Other people outside of the situation are more understanding than you'd imagine. Your career isn't necessarily lost though it may branch in a different direction.



I'm praying for your happiness, peace of mind and your job security.

I am so sorry to hear of your sufferings. While it may be hard to feel God's presence through this, rest assured that HE is there, carrying you through it. I am not certain what path HE has for you, but I do know that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:13). This was written as a promise of hope for each of us.



Take this time to discern HIS call for you. Many times God's plans are not our plans, but the great news is that HIS plans are always MUCH better than ours in the long run.



Give yourself some time to grieve the loss of your job and career. Take care of yourself during this time. Ask yourself..."what is it that I need?" If the answer doesn't come quickly, consider taking out a journal and writing your feelings - whatever comes to mind. And dive daily into the bible. HIS word is powerful stuff and will keep you centered on HIM as you look for HIS light.



I pray that you will find comfort in HIS word as you walk through this valley...

God has a plan, just trust in Him and He will get you through! The devil is trying to discourage your faith. I know it is difficult to see now but there is a purpose in this and The pedophiles will get theirs, maybe not on earth but they will suffer for eternity in hell! Please just keep the faith and my prayers will be with you.

Kelly although it did not result in my losing my career I when Our daughters were young children I had Child Care in our home. I had a three year old girl that I know as sure as I could have ever been that her father was touching her in was he should NOT have been touching her. When I called CPS her parents some how found a way to make her change what she told me. It was Very Hard to lose that family because I felt like I let the little girl down. I AM IN NO WAY COMPARING WHAT I WENT THROUGH WITH WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUG! However What I did learn was this, I did what I Legally And Morally had to do, The Only Thing I Could Do For This Family is to Pray for them, which I have done for over 22 years.



I have to agree with the advice you have already been given. I will be Praying for you also.

Rebekah stole my quote 'sometimes when God closes a door, He opens a window' ;) But sometimes God has nothing to do with it, it's just life. I didn't understand why God allowed me to develop many injuries, sicknesses so I had to quit working at 48--not until just recently am I understanding.



The world is getting more and more evil, and as it does, Christians are, more and more, coming under attack. Jesus said this would happen. He said (paraphrased) 'if the world hates Me, it will hate you', and the persecution is happening all over the world, showing us the time of the End is near. My heart goes out to you, honey, and I have no magic potion to give you--only trust God that He will protect and provide for you. There was a time when we had NO food to feed our children. A knock came at the door and we opened the door to boxes of food! Remember when the tax collector came to Peter and asked where the tax money was? Jesus told Peter to go fishing, take the first fish, open his mouth and take out the tax money. Peter probably thought Jesus had lost His mind! But he obeyed, and their tax bill was paid. (Just noticed Victoria quoted what I said about Jesus, boy, I have nothing original today!)



'Hold onto Jesus, baby, wherever you are'--words from Steven Curtis Chapman's song. This is a good word. Hang on, trust Jesus, and you WILL see victory. God bless, honey

God never brings more than you can handle. This was true for Job, who had everything stripped from him, but the minute he could no longer bear it was the exact minute God came in and met with Him.



This is temporary, think about it like Joseph - who was sold into slavery by his brothers, then thrown in jail for false accusation, but in the end God blessed him and he became used by God to save His people.



You are in your Joseph pit. Everything may seem like it is crashing down around you, but keep your hands in the air praising and your eyes focused on Jesus. He works out ALL things for your good. Do not let this overcome you. God is preparing you for a new season... one filled with great and mighty things. One that is going to allow you to reach people like you never have before. Take this time to focus on Him, worship Him, thank Him, and trust Him. When He closes a door, He will always open a new one. Wait on Him and He will provide the door that will burst forth in a new season. This Joseph pit of yours, I truly believe is going to be a strengthening for you, a reviving to your faith, and a deepening of passion for Jesus... change is coming.

Hi Kelly, Here are a few scriptures for you to dwell in, keep doing what you are doing. It might be hard, but ultimately God knows what He is doing, even when we don't understand.



(Jesus speaking) John 15:18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.



James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers (Sisters), whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.



James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.



Ro 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
