thank you guys sooo much :) and yes iam verrrrrry happy and pleased with myself, my sister as well got baptized at the same time as me :) we turned to jesus together :)

Oh! Have a blessed day! It was 30 years ago I got baptized - well it'll be 30 years in August.

I was pregnant with my second son (who turned 29 years old in March). I was the first pregnant person to be baptized in the baptismal tank at my old Church. All the female candidate for baptism at our Church wore a long white gown with a swimsuit underneath (can't even remember what the guys wore!).

I forgot to take a towel - the Pastor had said everyone getting baptized would need to bring a towel and I forgot! I emerged from the water with everyone singing "Oh Happy Day" and one of the Church ladies holding out a tiny towel which came from the Church kitchen! Somehow I got dry!

That Church has now been demolished - and some apartments have been built on that site.
