I have been very blessed to get the spiritual gift of prophecy, although I don't tend to use it at much as I would like, nor do I know how to use it to the full, I feel very very lucky knowing I can help others sometimes :) If I ask God and really listen to him he will tell me bible verses or songs to tell other people to read. I quite often don't know why he has asked me to do it and was quite unfomfortable at first doing it but after everyone told me I was in perfect timing (Some even breaking down in tears cause they finally had answers) I know now not to question his work. I also have premonition dreams, but don't realize they were UNTIL that thing is happening in real life. I know that God will one day use that to his power

I have always been a good listener and God has used that to turn it into a counseling gift. I have been through depression and now help others in my own way through different situtations.

I also have a artsy/crafty/design part of me and hope that God will tell me one day how to use that to glorify him to :)

I'm thankful that I've been given the gift of tenacity. It took me 15 years to find full-time permanent paid employment and I had to be a Stay-At-Home-Mother during that time, much to my misery and feelings of unfulfillment. I did, during that time have various short term temporary work contracts and part time work though. I was a single parent and reliant on State benefits to raise my children.

But I found employment eventually and have been working full-time for nearly 7 years now!!

I'm so glad I didn't give up and that the Lord didn't give up on me. About 10 months after I'd been in full-time work, my son said to me he was so proud of me that I was now working for a living. And my youngest child (my only daughter) bragged about me at school!

Since that time, I met and married my husband and have come to know every happiness. My children have flown the nest and the relationship we all share as productive adults is good.

I have been truly blessed!!

@Rachel, it helps to be in a ministry with Prophets and a strong prophetic ministry to help cultivate and stir up the gift of prophecy inside of you. There are many out there depending upon where you live. I am blessed to be a member of one such ministry {Crusaders in Chicago} we have many teaching CD's available on the subject of the prophetic as well as books and DVD's. The phone # to order materials is 17089220983

The gift/talent that God has given me (and I believe, everyone else) is creation.

I guess I coulda been more specific about spiritual gifts and/or natural talents. I believe God has given all Mothers a special talent to create through their hands, some cooking, some sewing, some innovative inventions, me, making soap, spiritual gifts are healing, interpretation of tongues, miracles, me, prophetic psalmist, discernment of spirits & teaching. God bless you for those who made "sound" replies to this post and I pray you know that God made you more than a conqueror! Be in~courage~d! 1Corinthians 12

@Rebecca Pemberton - There are many spiritual gifts tests out there. The one that was posted in the threads below for people to take concentrates only on 10 out of MANY spiritual gifts. If you have discernment, I'd probably bet that "prophetic" is your MAIN gift. :)

@Rebekah--It is VERY frustrating when people ask for counsel, then do it their own way, isn't it? God told Ezekiel to warn the people. He said 'they won't listen, but tell them anyway. This delivers YOUR soul. They will die in THEIR sins, but you have done your job.'

So, we tell them, and that is the end of our job. What they do with it is their responsibility. I think this is one of the 'gifts' if you will, that is the most unappreciated by others, but God has entrusted it to you, so do it to the best of your ability!

God bless, sweetie!

I believe I have the gift of discernment. I can read people and situations, and I am always comparing things to what the Bible really says. The thing is many people won't believe what I have to tell them until the damage has been done. So with many of the gifts, we do what God has called us to do, but that does'nt mean it will be accepted by those we are trying to help.
I just took one of the spiritual gift tests online and discernment was not mentioned in the questions. It says my dominant gifts are serving, showing mercy, and administration.
Other than spiritual gifts, I love to give to others, such as craft items or canned goods that I have made. I love gardening and sharing the bounty with others.

I'm a Reverend also. The gift he has gave me is understanding and the gift of helping all he sends my way. I love what I do and how much God is in my life.

I have been blessed with the gift of mercy, and helping others. I feel doubly blessed because I am able to use these gifts in a way that provides for my families needs.

God has blessed me with many gifts and talents. I am a published poet & God has now moved that talent for writing to write messages & sermons. He blessed me to be able to sing and I sing in our WON ministries worship team. He has given me the gift of prophesy, I am also blessed as a pastor to be used in the live of many people in many different areas as a servant as a leader as a councillor. I have always been talented to teach, and especially children, which is why now I am so blessed to be a Children's Pastor.

God is so good and any gift or talent I am blessed with is because of His love and grace and I will use them for His glory & the good of Hid people as best I can.

I am thankful that God has given me the gift of motherhood, but he has also blessed me with the gift of mercy, compassion, and servanthood. He has blessed me with a husband and the skills to be a wife and homemaker. He has blessed me with a thirst of knowledge for Him. He has blessed me with boldness for my faith. I thank God for my gifts, for I have everything because of Him!

God bless

I would have to say baking or cooking. I can cook any recipe that you give me for the most part and my hubby usually loves what I cook.

I have also taken a test similar or maybe even the same one that Rebekah took. My Gifts are Prayer, and Servant. My Greatest Passion is to bring other's needs before Our Lord in Prayer.

Wow! I think he's given me lots of gifts/talents... my passion is dance. :) I love to dance -- and I teach kids in my are for FREE, since I was a kid that wasn't allowed to go to dance classes because my parents couldn't afford it. I don't want other kids to miss out on an opportunity.

So, I guess another gift of mine is "teaching" -- I LOVE kids and LOVE to be in their world and showing them how they can be instruments God can use NOW, not when they are older. I truly believe in the Scripture "let the little children come to me for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these".

I'm a creative at heart... from writing to crafts to activities to games... I can inspire in many ways. :)

But my ultimate spiritual gift is "hospitality" - shocking to me, but not really to others. I first took a spiritual gifts test and was disappointed - I wanted a "cool" gift like "teacher", "pastor", "evangelist" - but NO, it was "hospitality". But I didn't understand what "hospitality" meant... till finally someone explained it to me and then I was like "WOW!" I has an AWESOME gift! It's the ultimate gift within me because it's the gift that allows me to open up people to make them feel at home and comfortable and then I can show them the other gifts that are within me. I never understood their spiritual gift tests until someone explained to me how mine related to me --- it really opened up my eyes.

All of us have gifts/talents and they are unique to each one of us -- whether we share the same gift/talent or not. But just as some of us have one strong gift, some us might have multiple gifts that we are strong in (that's why I had a hard time understanding my spiritual gifts test)... but whatever gift(s) are within you - God has them there for a specific purpose and it's unique to YOU, don't forget to use it!

Encourager. There is hardly anything that I haven't been brought through by the Lord, and now He has given me opportunities to testify to His goodness and His mercy. Going through the fire isn't fun, but after you get out, you are positive that God is faithful, and if you put your trust in Him, He will make a way. I also like to write and pray for people. We also counsel couples or individuals with marriage problems. God is so good!

God bless, honey
