with one yr old(s) you will be fine. Put a small portion on his/ her plate and go from there. What they eat is fine. They know when they are full as well as when they are hungry. Good luck

my little one lets me know when shes done..just watch for the active-ness in eating and signs of being full if they are slowing down or getting uninterested then they are probably getting full..that and if they are gaining weight fine and not gaining a lot (they slow down with weight gain when they reach this age)

she'll stop when she is full.... its good she has a good appetite... from 1-2 her appetite will slow down..so the dr says... my son is almost 20 months and loves to eat... i get a kick out of watching him enjoy his food...

The funny thing is, if you put something in front of her, she just keeps on eating it.

When they get full! 1 year olds will not typically over eat!
