Why does Thanksgiving get so overlooked?

I love Thanksgiving...it is a time to be thankful for all that God has done for us!

it is the culture we live in. The stores and other places start Christmas so early it often seems passed over!

Family Life Today has some great Thanksgiving books. Everyday we can be thankful for something.

I'm with you too! I think Thanksgiving is better than Christmas, at least in the terms of our family get-togethers. You can just come and bring a dish and there is no worry about presents and who got who what!!! I was very sad this year because it seemed worse than usual.

It gets over looked because you can't sell being thankful! Guess we just have to make it a big deal individually.

I know what you mean...drives me crazy!! I don't know about where you are, but around here they started putting the Christmas stuff out right beside the Halloween stuff this year!! I love Thanksgiving too and it is a time to focus on all God has blessed us with. It's sad that it sort of gets passed by.
