I too have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. I would have 13 but we lost one a year ago. As for things tp do with them, we go to the zoo, the park, and the beach. It is great, the oldest which is 11 helps to watch to youngest who is almost 2. We usually take a picnic because eating at those places is outrageous. I can't afford it. Find a cheap local attraction and set up a picnic. It is really a blast.

I do the computer games with them and they like that. The great thing about being a Grandmother is the fact that u do not have to parent...just listen to them and luv them. I heard a joke recently...Why do grandparents and grandchildren get along so well?    .. we have a common enemy..the parents!!!  lol

When my first grandchild was born, a very good friend told me "now you know why they call them "grand" children".  It is so true.  I believe we can give them all the unconditional love, and let the parents take the responsibility of parenting.  My happiest times are when I can spend time with them.  I think they keep me active and much younger.  Grandma is my favorite name.

Wow !2 grandchildren. You are certainly a lucky lady. I have 2 grandsons and couldn't be more in love with them. They live with me and all the rest of us. We total 7 all together. Money is tight but some how we manage. There is a great game we play called apples to apples. You can buy it any where they sell toys. Its a ton of fun and even the younger ones can play with some help. Well maybe not the 2 yr old. My 9 yr old actually asks us to play.
