HI.
I was a grandma at 31 for the first time, now at 48 I 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Needless to say me and my oldest daughter started very young. Each and everyone of these children are true blessing from God and I can't thank him enough for them all. I love spending time with them and watching them all grow, its just wonderful.

I became a Nana at 33. We now have three grandchildren. Two are by my step-daughter but they are still mine. The other is by our niece but he is still ours also. We love them all dearly. The two by our daughter I started keeping at one month old, when she went back to work. The oldest starts pre-k this year but I will still be keeping the youngest. The are all a complete joy.

Hi everyone. I became a mother at the age of 14 to twin girls and became a grandmother the first time at the age of 32. He was the first of 8 grandchildren and we love them all. Being a grandmother is wonderful. There is nothing like it.

I have watched almost all of the grandchildren for awhile before they started school.

My 8th grandchild (the 4th grandson) was born in January this year and I am keeping him 4 days a week while my son and daughter-in-law are working.

So now we have 4 granddaughters ages 9, 6, 3, & 2. The grandsons are ages 17, 12, 11 months, and 4 months.

I became a Nana at 39. My grandson will be 13 in July, my granddaughter is 9, next grandson is 4, last grandson is 3. My son and daughter-in-law did it all backwards, they had Jackson and married when he was a year old. I have wonderful pictures of my son carrying his son in one arm while his new bride was on his other arm. She is a wonderful mother and he is a wonderful daddy. He is military and she is a stay at home mom who homeschools the oldest two. Nothing is more wonderful than being a grandmother.

If my husband and I go out with the grandson (which we do because we have custody)

and our son is with us people think my son and husband are my brothers and the grandbaby is my son. Isn't that crazy! When they find out they say no way!

i love being nana! I can't believe how great it feels! I have a 23 year old son that gave me a wonderful grandaughter 2 years ago when I was 37! This year I became nana again when he and his wife had a little boy in March! I still have a son who is graduating this year and one in the 5th grade so I have to make sure I don't dote on the grands too much! (which is very hard) It's funny because when me d-n-law and kids and grands are all with me....people mistake them all for my kids! My d-n-law doesn't like it too much! I am trying to be a good maw-n-law. Do you have any advice?

Hello, I became a grandma at the age of 37. I have a 19month old Bradyn(first and wouldnt trade him for anything) Ryland 3 months(looks just like his dad ) and little Annabella 1 month(waited forever to have a girl in the family). I have three sons 19,19 and now 18. My 18 year old is now a dad of the 19 month old and 1 month old. he was 16 when he got married and a dad two weeks later. Knew his girlfriend at the time was pregnant. And one of my 19 year old twins is the dad of the 3 month old, he is currently in the Navy serving our country. and as for my other twin he is currently dating and no children yet but someday he says he is ready but she is not yet. I love being a young nanna too. it is so different with grandchildren then when you raised your kids. Having a granddaughter is so different too. I was raised with two brothers, had 3 sons and then started out with the two grandsons and then we finally had a girl after all the boys in my family. last girl on my side of the family is almost 12. so my first grandson we almost had to take custody of but his parents finally got their act together for now. we will see for how long. lol

I was 39 when my first grandchild was born - he is now 14 and 6'2". I had 2 daughters so this little baby boy was/is the apple of my eye. Now he has a sister 10. And 2 more joined their family-my son in law's niece age 14 and nephew age 16. So I am a blessed mimi and I REALLY have enjoyed being younger as they were growing up. I try to make as many of their functions as possible - we attend church together and I am very active in leadership in the youth dept. So it's just the BEST! I thought it strange to be a grandmother before age 40....thus I am a mimi and not a GRANNY - too young for that. But being mimi ranks as one of my top joys of life! Enjoy your babies - they grow up fasst.

I just became a grandma 5 weeks ago and I am 38. I think it is wonderful, he is the most beautiful child ever to me (besides my own of course) and I wouldn't change it for anything. I know I am not old enough to be a "grandma" but that is actually a good thing! I love the compliments....lol

Hi there! You beat me by 3 years. I was 42 when my first grandchild was born to my eldest daughter. She is now 5 and has 2 brothers (3 and 1)

My Second daughter has a daugher 5 and brand new twin boys.

So I now have 6 beautiful grandchildren. Lots of my old school friends are still dealing with teenage traumas, and I get to enjoy the beautiful babies while able to play with them and enjoy them totally.

I love them all dearly and wouldn't change them for the world either.
