Are there are any mothers out there using or uses cloth diapers and rubber pants?

HI I was just wondering being a old fashion cloth diaper mom was wondering how many mothers used or are currently using cloth diapers with rubber pants?

I would like to hear about your experiences either good or bad.

Im trying to convince my friend that they are a great way to diaper even now with all the other expensive choices out there.

When my first son was born I tried prefold diapers with rubber pants (Gerber). The prefolds were great but the gerber pants were horrible. they got hot and made squishy sounds when he moved and tore VERY easily. I stuck with the prefolds but switch to a better cover - Mother Ease airflow covers and Thirsties Duo wraps. They were a little pricier but worth it. The prefolds were super cheap and worked very well.

I probably will but I really like the newer wraps. That is all I used with my first 4.
