I've got a 23 month old and I've given up on using the medium sized Thirsty AIO, they just do not fit well. Last time I put one on her, I put in a doubler and there was still leaking, when I looked at the diaper, half of it was not even that damp, I think it is a fit issue. Perhaps she has outgrown them? She is 32 inches and about 25 pounds. She is long and skinny and I'd like to find a diaper that I know will work and that I can reuse with my second who is due next month. Perhaps a one size fits all. Also looking for something economical.

I would suggest the kaytidid brand one size fits all.

I'm using a combination of Gro Baby and GroVia on my long skinny girl. You can get them on sale and save a bunch of money on the Gro Baby @ www.bumritediapers.com The packages come with half Gro Baby inserts and half GroVia inserts and the 'Live It' package is over $100 off!!! (because they are trying to get rid of the inventory). They are a one size/hybrid/AI2 because the newer GroVia are out.

I used to use Flip diapers (same as bumGenius minus the pocket factor, but the same shape and size otherwise) but they started leaking every single time she peed because the leg holes were to big even on the smallest setting. The Gro Baby ones have great elastic and snap in inserts to keep them in place. Plus you an reuse the cover a couple times before you have to wash it.

My son had the same dimensions and we went with BumGenius. Never had a leak. Buy them new and it's an even better fit.

I recommend a prefold with a wool cover. They are the most versatile diapers I have found and because you fit it (I use a snappi instead of pins) it will fit every baby every time! Good Luck

My daughter is currently 78th %ile for length and 10th %ile for weight and we are using Fuzzibunz one-size and love them. We have not had any leaks and they fit her great.

HI Maria,
My girl is long and skinny. She's been 95th percentile height and 50th weight since she was born. I tried quite a few brands and I found the Bum Genius to be the best for her. I'm am thrilled with them and they have held up incredibly over 14 months now. I almost never have a leak. Occasionally it happened when she was still nursing, but I can't even remember the last time I had a problem during the day; it's been months. On the downside, sometimes she wets through them at night, even with the thick insert. When I was testing out brands in the beginning, I found that any brand that I bought with a snap top closure did not work for me. I always had leaks with them. It could have been the brands though.
