Hello! I started to cloth-diaper my son because his diaper area was always so red from chemicals in the disposables. He is 21 months now and has been potty training (his persistance to use the potty) for about 3 months. I had to start using commercial pull-ups because he refused to lie downfor diaper changes. I was wondering if there was a place to purchase cloth pull-ups. I have been unable to find them. He is not staying dry long enough to use underwear with a diaper cover so I need other options as he is once again bright red... Thanks for the help!

fyi the vinyl covers are enormous! I would look at www.etsy.com for some wahm ones. they might be cheaper.

Thanks for all the help ladies! I did finally find some thick cotton training pants from Gerber and got some of their vinyl covers to try as well. Let's see how it works!

Keep him in underwear but without pants on. Make a big deal about going to the toilet. If he wets his pants, speak to him in a stern, matter of fact tone that pee goes in the potty. Ask him A LOT if he has to go; if he always says no, then just place him on it every half hour. He will get the idea in less than a week & you won't have to worry about it. My son has been toilet trained since 18 months by doing this.

Yeah, they certainly aren't cheap! I'm sure there is another cloth trainer out there, but maybe you can find some used ones of ebay, or even one just to try it! Good luck!

I'm actually looking into the same thing. Blueberry Diapers makes a cloth trainer. Right now they are on sale buy 5 get 1 free. http://www.blueberrydiapers.com/Products...
They are mostly waterproof or something like that, but they look like underwear, yet they are absorbant. I actually just logged in to see if anyone has tried them. My daughter is almost there (in terms of transitioning to trainers), but she still has days where she wants nothing to do with the potty. Then there are days where she will use the potty all day and doesn't wet her diaper. Let me know if you find something that works!
