I use Charlie's Soap (powder). Just half a Tablespoon is enough for a normal load. Super-soiled loads I use a full Tablespoon. It lasts forever. Haven't had any problems with smelling, leaking, or wicking with our diapers, and we've never had to strip them.

I use ECOS liquid. I tried some of the 'baby' detergents and they disagreed with his skin...

I have been using the Shaklee products to wash my diapers in and it has been working great. It's earth friendly and free of all the additives. I use all the shaklee products to clean my home too and it's awesome...and safe! Let me know if you're interested and I can get you more info. Great Stuff!

I just use 3 tablespoons of washing soda and 5 sprays of Simple Green. Works great!

I use Allen's Naturally (powder). I love it so far & it lasts a long time :). I buy it at nurturedfamily.com (cheapest place I could find online).

We use Country Save. I can't find it locally, so I buy a case off of Amazon. The stuff lasts forever!!! You can go to www.pinstripesandpolkadots.com and find a list of CD friendly detergents.

Just a warning, Make sure that the detergent you se doesn't have enzymes. The enzymes will eat the skin on your babies bum and give them a terribel rash!
