I have been on the hunt for some time now for a "diaper sprayer" but everywhere I ask the clerks give me a funny look and don't know what I am talking about! Has anyone in Canada purchased one in a retail shop, that could suggest a place to look?
Thanks all!

for any other moms that look at this ad i just wanted to let you know that I finally located a retailer in canada by going to the bumgenious website. they will list all retailers near you and when i called the one near me they have 2 in stock! better then ordering online and paying shipping! and for $50+tax its worth it to no longer have to buy the flushable liners or to soak diapers ;) im going to buy mine tonight before they are out!!

we ordered the bum genius brand off amazon for $50. it does have an on/off valve, but you could leave it on all the time if you want. i think they do recommend turning it off "just in case" there's a problem with your plumbing?

Thanks for all the options!
I am really hoping to avoid buying online, but if that is the way I need to go- So be it!
Can those of you who recommended certain ones tell me if they have an on/off valve that I will need to use with every spray, or do they stay on all the time?
Jennifer- that site is awesome! I will talk to the hubby and see what he thinks about making one for me!

Hubby made mine, 1metre length of garden hose and a trigger nozzle attachment. High pressure cleaning at a fraction of the price.

I ordered mine from cottonbabies.com too. It works great and they have wonderful customer service if you need any help.

Before I ordered mine, I used the sprayer in my kitchen sink because it has good water pressure. Then I would bleach my sink and counter to kill any germs. Maybe not the best solution, but sometimes you have to make do with what you have at the time! (=

we got ours on ebay for under $20 including shipping. Highly recommend looking there first. Otherwise, a friend of mine got hers at a Home Depot. Maybe try a place like that?

I bought this one, cheaper than others and works great. I thought it was leaking but their customer service was great and helped me find it had a tiny piece of sand from my water preventing it from sealing. rinsed it out and it works great again! super easy to install too.

I did not find mine at a retail shop. I got it from cotton babies. It works really well, (14 months in use for far, and survived three moves). I was a little afraid at first to invest the $50 for the sprayer. I tried the concept first with a shower sprayer with an extensions cord. They should sell these in your local hard ware store. This only works if your shower is relatively close to your toilet. You can get cords that are up to 10 feet long.
