Do any of you use Fuzzy Bunz?

I used some size small when my baby was smaller. I LOVED them and wish I could have an entire stash of them. Unfortuntately, I bought a whole stash of OS fitteds thinking I would prefer that route... big mistake! They were not too bulky but leak proof! I hear solids are better than prints... something about the PUL...?? Um, They're as bulky as you want them to be because of the stuffing. I would stuff more at night and they'd be kinda big but it held all night.
Oh! We also had a few XL Fuzzi Bunz that we used for our 3/4 yr old bed wetter. It was only on occasion but they held up and were such a life saver!

I haven't ever used mainly Fuzzi Bunz. I used 6 size small, 4 size medium, and now 11 large. Here are the pros and cons according to me:
Pros: Cute, trim (hardly bulky at all), easy to use (even dad likes them), good quality (seem to last forever), wash well, dry fast, ok absorbancy with one insert, can be added to for extra absorbancy, not tight on the waist, better than disposables at containing blow-outs, easy to buy used for cheaper and in like new condition.
Cons: Expensive, with 1 insert absorbancy is no better than a much-cheaper prefold, the snaps aren't as adjustable as velcro for getting the right fit, not good for babies with thinner thighes, not as good at containing blow-outs as Thirsties covers with prefolds or fitted diapers.
I used Fuzzi Bunz at night with 2 hemp prefolds and really liked how it all held together. For some reason my son, who is 2.5 years old and grew out of the medium size about 8 months ago, still doesn't have legs big enough to fit in the large Fuzzi Bunz properly. The leg holes are gaping open while the snaps are done up as much as I can. I prefer Chinese Prefolds with Thirsties covers because they're better at holding in blow-outs and are just as absorbant with a much better price. My friend uses Fuzzi Bunz exclusively and loves them! I think the medium size ones work the best. Good luck!

We have used fuzzi bunz for the past 2 years for our son. For the first year they were brilliant - I never had leaks but after that we went through a phase when I could change him and walk through to the next room and they would be leaking again! Finally figured that he just needed more padding in the insert and now they are fine - they last 2-4 hours depending on how much water he drinks. Overnight we use three cotton inserts (which came with the fuzzibunz) plus a soaker over the top and he rarely wakes up with wet pajamas. The only real issue we have had is when we are travelling in the car for a few hours. It seems that his position in the car seat makes them leak pretty quickly so we use disposables for those times. But I would recommend fuzzi bunz over most other brands and disposables - they have saved heaps of money and we will use the same ones for our next child.

Lindsay, I love my blueberries, too, and my daughter is also a very heavy wetter, but I find they tend to feel damp on the PUL side, although they are always nice and dry next to her bum. I guess they are wicking it away from her.

I love my FB, I have used them now for 2 children and they have lasted with no problems. My daughter was fine with no leaking but my son is a heavy heavy wetter so I have to use a hemp insert with the microfiber one and they worked great! I have tried many many different brands and now only have FB and blueberry which are also great diapers for heavy wetters.

i have about 8 of them and love them but i also like fuzzi buns. i got mine on a freak chance from some lady one craigslist that bought them and they came in the wrong size and sold them off cheappppppp. i fel in love with them the first time i used them. however now my son is potty training and no more babies for me so i guess i will donate them to the diaper service for low income families

i have heard the the quality is poor these days. Some other mamas were saying that recently they are inconsistent in sizing and the elastic wears out. i can't remember what else but there was a big discussion about it on another board and people seemed pretty disappointed in the latest FBs. maybe old used ones would be good still?

I only ordered one, it was the very first cloth diaper we got. It worked awesome during the day, but leaked at night. It's bulky & odd fitting on my son (20lbs & 5 months) I had the One Size and I've heard that the Perfect Size are WAY better. I prefer the bumGenius 3.0 over any other diaper so far though. They fit great & absorb better than anything I've tried!
I loved my FB. I had a few size small diapers, which are quite big (like too big for a newborn in most cases), and 2 dozen size mediums. Most kids Toilet Train out of a size Medium FuzziBunz. I haven't tried the one size, though they look pretty bunched up when they are as small as they go... We had no blow outs and the diaper couldn't be removed by my daughter, which is a bonus. I used hemp inserts and a microfibre insert for overnight.
www.diaperpin.com is a great place to read up on the different cloth diapers, the site has hundreds of user comments.

I only have the old style ones, that come in five sizes. I am not a fan of one-size anything. They are trim, easy, wash out nicely and almost never leak if you change your baby within a reasonable time. Their motto is that they are the workhorse diaper, and its so true. They have held up very well for two years, and I intend to use them two more on baby #2. I have to agree with the poster who recommended getting hemp inserts.

I have a few and like them a lot. Here are some things we've found:
I think they are quite trim for a pocket.
I have yet to have a leak or soak-through.
I love the colors they come in.
I think they are very easy to use and love the snaps - so far they are very durable.
My toddler can't take them off (this is a big one in our house!).
I have small hands and have no trouble putting the inserts in, but my larger-handed nanny and husband have a lot of trouble doing so and now just wait for me to do it (this may not be unique to FBs, but might be a trait of most pockets).
While I have never had a leak, I have had poo get into the leg elastic and not want to wash out, that was pretty gross.
While they are trim on my toddler, the one-sized get really bulky when you scrunch them down to fit smaller babies. I think it's going to look really funny on my newborn, but we'll see.
Overall I think they're a great diaper, but wanted to give you some honest feedback about them! GL!

they are some of the best diapers out there. Especially for pockets. my son is 5 months weve only had 2 leaks and it was only when we left him in them too long. You can use different inserts besides the ones they come with. Hemp inserts work the best!!
