Hanna Andersson (www.hannaandersson.com) sells traditional cotton training pants with the thick cotton liners. They call them Training Unders. The Gerber brand have a polyester insert, which doesn't absorb urine (so they are useless). I have a bunch of the Hanna pants and love them. If you go on their website and locate an outlet store location, you can call the outlet store and order the Training Unders from them rather than paying the website price. They will ship them to you directly. I think they are about $3 a pair at the outlet stores, but about $5-6 on the website.

I'm looking for thiker ones than the gerber ones. They used to have very thick ones when I, but I guess it is like everything else they stop making something good in order to force everyone to buy desposable diapers. Maby I can find something at a specialty shop, but that is means $$.

I know Target, and I think Wal Mart, have the gerber cloth training pants with the thick centers. They're usually near the onesies and prefold diapers.

like the training pants ones that have about the equivalent of a single layer of a prefold? Walmart has the gerber brand but I don't think they'll hold up to sleeping.
