I'm a newbie...haven't even started cd'ing yet, but want to know...what are your favorite fitted, AIO, and covers? Oh...and wipes too! Also, what wipe solution do you like? :) Thanks!

We love Piddle Poddles OBV/OS as well as their T&T http://hyenacart.com/piddlepoddles/ Most of the time we can go cover less with these. The absorbency is amazing. Plus the prints and squisheyness is the best.

We love Mutts too :)
Thirsties covers are good, hust hate the fuzz build up on the tabs.

We love crankypants for our wool http://hyenacart.com/Crankypants/

Plus they are cutiest longies ever. My son just recently grew out of his pair of monster booty, I was so sad.

Prefolds we haven't used in a while, as he got too chunky. But when he was in them when he was a lot smaller we loved Little Lions unbleached Indian.

We also love Panda Tushies Terry Bamboo, these have a great stretch and are very soft.

Anyone tried Sticky Peas? http://hyenacart.com/stickypeas/

I desperately want to try these, they look yummy!

I use Bumgenius 3.0 and Kushies AIO. Kushies are cheap and you can site-to-store them to your local wal-mart, They were half the price of the Bumgenius and do just as well, I really prefer them.

I dont use all in ones... but i use happy heinys on size diapers and they rock! I feel that they are a little easier to keep cleam because the wash the insert out side of the pocket! I live in a very arid place and i am worried that poopy ones will get dried in so being able to separate the diapers is great. we dont have hardly any leaking, and no blowouts. My baby was 6 lbs 110z at birth and they fit her (though kind of big back then) - I think you get the most bang for you buck with a one size diaper) - I absoluetly love HH- however some people don't. Diaper to suit how you live! (ohhh... and my baby has never gotten a diaper rash in them! but she immediately rashes in disposables)

I use cloth diapers because we are broke! So I went with the cheapest options-I use Chinese prefolds with Dappi vinyl pull-on pants. I like pins or snappis on the diapers. The vinyl pants are fine unless they have a tight onesie or waistband that causes it to soak through. Of course there are great options out there with other covers and AIOs, but since I do it to save money this combo works great for me.

Oh, and I dilute California Baby diaper spray for a wipes solution.

I don't use fitteds or AIO, but my favorite covers are wool. I really like Covered Caboose wraps for day and I use Disana or Aristocrats at night. I try to just use wool, but I do have some Thirsties covers for backup, which work really well, too.

We use the FuzziBunz perfect fits and we make our own wash solution. We just mix it up in an empty 2-L bottle - 2 T. baby shampoo (Healthy Times has great scents for covering the tea tree oil smell), 1 T. baby oil, few drops of tea tree oil, fill the bottle.

My favorites are the new one size fuzzibunz, with the Onesize blueberries coming in as a close second.

I use AIO pockets, with prefold stuffers. I get them from a work at home mom, beeba bottoms. I LOVE THEM!! She will talk to you and basically customize them as needed, an example, we were barely in size large when we got them from her so she put an extra snap setting to make sure they would fit. She makes all different kinds. I also just use water for my wipes and just run them under the tap as I need them,

MotherEase diapers are my favorite with breathable liners. They wash really well and this is the second child they have been used on and still have lots of wear left. I think I could use them for 2 more if I wanted.

Fitted: kissaluvs

AIO: Blueberries

Covers: MotherEase for older babies/toddlers and Thirsties for younger ones because they have the little pocket to fit a tri-folded prefold.

But truly, my favorite diapers are the pockets and I just LOVED the one and only Green Acres Design one that got lost :(. But time and again I reach for my ever-reliable Fuzzibunz.

For wipes, I use cut up pieces of fleece I got out of a clearance bin at JoAnn's Fabrics. After two years, there is no staining whatsoever on them. I use Bum's Up wipes solution.

bumgenius OS 3.0. no leaks and more importantly, no poop explosions outside the diaper. it's awesome!

we use pampers sensitive wipes or more often, just her baby washclothes with warm water. we don't use any wipe solution. our baby has never had a diaper rash...of course, she's only 10 wks old, so never know. but it seems to work for us.

fitteds: elbees (costly but oh soooo worth it!!) and dunk-n-fluff and dreameze
I make my own wipe solution with Dr. Bronners mild soap, Burt's Bees Apricot Oil, Almond Oil, grapefruit seed extract, and distilled water. I mix it all in a foaming bottle.

I use a diaper service (happy Nappy) so I can't help you for the diapers but I use the mother-ease covers and Pampers sensitives wipes or just plain cheap facecloths with water.. I'll sometimes put in a few drops of apricot kernel oil and lavender essential oil but that is mostly when my son makes "big" diapers or if he starts a rash. Just water works fine.

It depends on the age. For 4-months+ I really like Chinese prefolds because the price is so economical and they are just as absorbant as most expensive ones I've used. For larger sizes I really like Crikett's Diapers. They're very absorbant and the best price for what you get. I use Thirsties covers with both because they're the best IMO (I've tried 3 others).

Fuzzi Bunz are nice for a trim fit and to stuff lots of stuff in at night. They're also very easy like a disposable but too expensive to buy new.

I really liked the plain flannel wipes they used to sell. I'm not impressed with the newer ones I've tried so if I need more I'll just make some out of receiving blankets. I just put some baby shampoo and baby lotion in a water bottle and pour it straight on baby and wipe up. Cloth wipes are so much better than disposable once you find a system you like.

I didn't want anything too complicated, so I tried some pockets and AIOs. I found that I absolutely loved the Dream Eze AIOs. They wash up pretty well and don't leak. They're pretty much the only thing in my stash at the moment. They're pretty trim, and fit my huge 7 1/2 month old really well. My only worry is that he'll be too big for them before he's potty trained.

one size fitteds! they are great because they get you through the newborn stage (when they don't fit into the one size pockets) and then you can still use them!! I think BG makes a fairly cheap bamboo fitted that i am jealous of!! I want some! Thirsties covers are awesome and never leak but after 8 months i started using wool and i am SOLD! love wool covers so next time around that's what i'll do! I keep a wipe warmer full of water and tee tree oil. i keep the wipes dry, next to the warmer.

I use Sweetcheeks fitted diapers for the last 4 years. They have two sizes to cover from newborn to toilet-trained. They are cotton, with liners so you use as many as you need (I use 5 for overnight, 2 or 3 during the day - for a 2-year-old, in the very beginning only 1 liner). I use Sweetcheeks fleece pull-on covers, which cover great and are nice and trim. Wipes are just squares of flannel that go into the diaper pail - I don't use a wipes solution, just water.

My favorite are Tiny Tush Elite. These are one-sized, fully adjustable, pocket diapers. They have snaps which lets them last a long time! Easy to use and wash. They work from 7-35 pounds, so just buy them once and save lots of money!

I have the BumGenius 3.0, and love them. They work great on my littlest one, and I use them for the kids I babysit as well. I also have some Kushies, and some prefolds which I tend to like the Bummis whisper wraps for those. I just fold a doubler from my BG's into the middle of the prefold, and it holds pretty well.

I like the Bum Genius bamboo fitteds. The Thirstie Fab Fitteds are so soft and cute at first, but the inside pills really badly and they don't hold much pee. Thirsties covers are great, but don't dry them in the machine. AIO are great in theory, but take forever to dry adding to your cost. I suggest Bum Genius One Size. You can customize the absorbancy and hang them to dry. I like flannel wipes and prefer to spray them with my own recipe (Aloe juice, water, organic baby shampoo, jojoba oil and lavendar oil). I don't keep my wipes wet because I think they work just fine with a few sprays of solution.

I love mine! ( http://bamboobums.com) however, what ever diaper system you choose think about: the pricing for 2 sized diapers, additional inserts for absorption (I've found most diapers don't come w/enough for overnight once the baby is a little older- or it won't hold up to nursing over night), do you need to buy covers?, is the vendor open about answering your questions (seriously- email them, see if you can get a better deal as a newbie- it worked for me). Really LOOK at what you are getting for your 15, 18, 25, 30 dollars.

i use prefolds with bummis super wisper wraps and thirsties covers. And pocket diapers i use are fuzzi buns and knicker nappies. I prefer the nicker nappies over fuzzi bunz.

Favorite fitted: Thirsties Fab Fitteds (I also looove Goodmamas, but they are SO expensive)
Favorite AIO: I order my AIO's from a WAHM. You can pick your own fabric and colors, they are affordable, trim and work really well for us. Her store is on Hyena Cart and is called Nana's Bottoms.
Covers: I loooove wool, and we use that almost exclusively around the house and at night. If I put a PUL cover on, the Thirsties are my faves. I also like the Bummis Super Brites.
Wipes: Love the Thirsties wipes (I am sensing a trend in my favorites, lol!)
Wipe solution: I have been using Baby Bits, and they smell heavenly, but I just ordered some foaming wipe solution from Northen Essence that I'm excited to try.

So, I will start at the bottom and work up -haha :)

I use flannel wipes I made, just two squares of flannel sewn together

All I do is get them wet in the sink Then they go in my dry diaper pail with the dirty diapers.

Covers, Wool, Wool, Wool! If you can't tell I love wool. For care of wool you can read my shpeil I wrote in the "wool cover care" thread or the "help with wool"

I have to biased too, My favorite diapers are a fittped PUL pocket diaper that I make and sell on my etsy site @ http://www.vilatesniftynook.etsy.com

I made the ones I use 4yrs and 3 kids ago, and they are still going strong.

I love them and I use flannel and microfiber for inserts to stuff the diaper with for absorbancy.

So, if you have any other ?'s just ask me. Good luck,

I use Mother-ease fitted and covers (with snaps) and I also use Kushies AIO. I like the Mother-ease best. For wipes I just use the cheap little baby wash clothes and a spray bottle of water, I don't add anything to the water.
