Hello,
I'm really trying to get rid of all of the store bought disposable diapers I got for my children at the baby shower, so that I can start using cloth diapers... I really cannot afford buying cloth diapers so i decided to try and make them myself. I have the patterns, lots of them, but I really need to find a place where I can get PUL, b/c I'd really like to make them as water proof as possible...Does anyone have any places I can buy them from?

Also, if you make diapers what do you usually prefer? I know a lot of mommies who make fleece diapers without PUL, and I just wonder how that works out...

Oh, there is a company out there, I'm not sure where, but you can send in your own cloth and they will PUL it for you, so you get just what you want.

When I bought my PUL it was on ebay. But no PUL, you can use flannel, fleece, hemp or bamboo.(the last two are best) Then you use cover, like the ones listed above, but I would go with wool! I am in love with wool. I sell some wool longies and soakers on my etsy shop. http://www.vilatesniftynook.etsy.com

if you are interested in Wool, but don't want to buy them i will share links to patters to sew some from recycled sweaters, or is you crochet or knit,, I have plenty of patterns for those too. Just let me know.

I don't know if you've already looked into it, but they make great wraps for cloth diapers. I have been very happy with them! You can get ones with velcro or snaps on cottonbabies.com or you can get the plastic cheapies at target. I have had less problems with the plastic cheapies!!
