What suggestions do you have for greasy bag balm stains on the liners of my pocket diapers? Thank you.

I only use pockets. The stains aren't so bad. But I got some dish soap and am planning on just putting a squirt in with the dipes and an extra rinse. I got lansinoh wipes and the rash is going away so I don't need the bag balm so much anymore.

We use bag balm religiously on our daughter- but only when she's wearing prefolds. I didn't dare touch my BG with the stuff. What's the material? If it's just plain old cotton, PM me and I'll send you a link to the stuff I use.

try the original blue formula dawn dishsoap. Fill up your sink with hot water and soap and scrub the stains in there and then throw them in the wash with a nickle size amount of the soap...should take it out. just make sure you rinse well to get all the soap out

bag balm is a medicated blend of lanolin and vaseline. I know a lot of CDing moms use lanolin and/or vaseline on their babies bums so I thought the bag balm would be ok to use with the dipes. They aren't stained horribly but I just wanted to know what would be good to use in the wash to make sure that the dipes aren't repelling any moisture.

Hum, I'm really not sure how to get it out, but I do know that rash creams should not be used on most cloth diapers because they are hard to wash off the fabric. I read that there are certain creams that are safe for cloth diapers. This website has more information. http://allaboutclothdiapers.com/cloth-di...

Bag balm is that stuff that comes in a green cube looking tin. I used it on my daughter's diaper rash and it's working great but the stains don't come out all the way. I've heard of people using dish soap but I don't know what kind to use or if there are other options.
