I use cloth diapers on my daughter and she has developed a bad diaper rash. Is there something I can do for her? I switched her to reusables to see if it would go away and it did and then I went back to cloth and it is coming back pretty bad. Is it because of the cloth diapers?

This happened with both of my little ones with two different causes!! With my dd it was the detergent! We switched to a dye free, scent free, everything free detergent and it went away! With ds it was because his urine was too acidic and bacteria was building up in the dipes, it was burning his skin! You can strip the dipes for this but that takes washing and quite a few rinses (I thinking stripping is an all day adventure!), you can purchase something called Bac-Out which does as it sounds and washes the bacteria out, or you can use white vinegar. I use about 2 cups of vinegar in my wash everyother time I wash and we no longer have any problems with rashes! Good luck mama! Let me know how it turns out!
