How to use soakers with onesies?

I feel like this may be a silly question since I've never seen it asked before--but I'm confused on how to dress a baby in a onesie and use a wool soaker over the cloth diaper. (I don't have any woolies yet, mostly because I haven't been able to figure this one out!) Do you put on the wool soaker on and then snap the onesie underneath it (seems like that would just look weird), do you snap the onesie over the diaper and then pull up the pants, do you just not use onesies and dress your baby in shirts instead?
Tell me that I'm not the only one who's been confused!

When we use wool we don't use onsies... Largely because the wool is part of the outfit... It's the pants or the shorts or the bloomers of the dress... & we want to show it off! :D

I didn't use onesies with my daughter (who was CD). I used shirts and pants or dresses.

That seems like the most logical, I guess I've just never seen pics of a baby dressed like that before. Thanks :)

You have to snap the onesie over the woolie because if you snapped it under the woolie it would become wet from the diaper... it may look strange, but your little one will be dry. The use of a onsie vs. t-shirt really comes down to personal preference.
