My 7.5 month old son is a very heavy wetter and i have tried SO many different options for night time diapering. The BG 3.0 worked fantastic until about a month ago and now he is leaking through even with extra inserts. I am wondering if anyone else has a really heavy wetter and found a cloth option for night that really worked.

DryBees fleece overnight pockets! They are completely bulletproof! Fluffy Butt Club also just came out with a nighttime AI2 that's getting good reviews, but I haven't been able to try it yet. Mine is in the mail!

What about wool? It's supposed to rock for nighttime.

I am having the same problem at 6 months. Only issue is night time super peeing. I've doubled, tripled...BG, Happy Heinies, etc. So far Swaddlebees AIO one size w/ hemp insert is the only thing that will hold through the night but at $25 a pop, I'm looking for other options. A prefold in a thirsties or Bummis whisper wrap is in trials now. Also read on line that I could use a wrap over my AIO to hold everything in...I'll give it a shot.

my son is a heavy wetter, and sleeps for a very long time at night, so the bum genius wasn't cutting it. I recently tried mother-ease with a cover, and it is sooo absorbent and we went from having leaks every night to not one yet! i would try that brand

Hi Amy, my daughter (9 months) has always been a heavy wetter! She's also been sleeping through the night for 7 months so I quickly realized the cloth diapers we used weren't absorbent enough. I use the bum genius that don't need an insert and add the big bum genius insert to the diaper. It's kind of bulky and the micro fiber is stinky in the morning but i don't need to change her sheets! Now that she is bigger I'm going to try Huggies night time diapers to see if they can hold her through the night because her "night diapers" were expensive.
