Recomendations on pocket training pants/pull-up style diapers?

I have been cloth diapering since the birth of my child, and I have found my favorites to be pocket style. (I love both the bumgenious diapers and the happy heiny diapers best) Now that my little girl is taking an interest in the potty, I would like to find the next step for her. I have seen many different options when doing an internet search, so I am hoping those experienced mamas out there can tell me which brands they like and which styles they like. I have seen them with and without side snaps - any advantages or disadvantages would be great to know!!

If you have a favorite training pants that are not pocket style, I would love to hear about that too. Any and all suggestions, experiences both good and bad, and words of wisdom in the training pants department are welcome!!

Side note - my daughter is just beginning this process, and is 18 months old so I am expecting her to be very hit or miss with actual use of the potty. However, I want to encourage her interest and her growing sense of independence. She is currently wearing a Happy Heiny size large pocket diaper (she has out grown the one-size pockets).

We just use the Gerber training pants, which are essentially underwear with an extra panel built in to help keep an accident in. For us, it was the price tag that made the decision - when you're going through several underpants in a day towards the beginning of potty training, it helps to be able to buy a bunch without spending a fortune.

I also find it helps that they do not seem at all like diapers, so he can really tell the difference. He's better about telling us before he goes in the underwear - and even if he starts to go just a little, he'll stop himself and then tell us - but he won't do that with diapers.

I have considered getting a couple pairs Imsy Vimsy training pants for when he's ready to start going diaper-free at night, but I haven't decided what is the right route to take there yet.

with my two year old we use pockets at night, and during the day we use normal underware. If we are going out or long drives he will wear a diaper. he has mastered the potty at home and will tell me when he has to pee, but when we are out it is another story. I will ask him when we are out and slide the diaper up and down like underware and it seems to work for him.
