Any recommendations for cloth training pants? Ideally ones that are easily available in the UK - but if you know of something great you can only get in the US I can work that out too! I don't want to make them myself (working Mum = no time) but I'd still like to keep the cost down as much as possible.

Thanks in advance, Karen.

yeah, 6-8 sounds about right.

I wouldn't go with the waterproof, cause they are usually not breathable.  Which can lead to dry chapped bums.  Besides if they are water proof how are they that much different than a diaper?  Then they are just a diaper that  pulls up, then kiddos are smart and trainers help them to know when they have had an accident.  If it is water proof and feel the same as a diaper there is no learning going on.  just my opinion though.  :)

Thanks. They are very cute. I'll let you know if that's what I decide to go with. I'll be in the US soon so I could sort out shipping to a US address.

Anyone else have any recommendations? I have one pair of Imse Vimse (from Cotton Babies: http://www.cottonbabies.com/index.php?cP...) which are OK - but I'm not sold on them at all...

Also how many do I want? Any opinions on waterproof vs. not waterproof? A combination? We're not pushing potty training much yet, but we've had a bit of success, and I think I'll just start sendng little one to nursery in training pants in the summer (they've said they're OK with that), so I figure I need at least 3-4 clean ones to send with her (at least to start with), so maybe 6-8 in total....?

I make some,

composition:  outside, a cute cotton knit, inside organic hemp fleece -soft, absorbent, and then a crotch reinforcement that is organic bamboo velour -super soft and very absorbent.  The hemp and bamboo are not only absorbent, but anti-bacterial, and anti-microbial.  They are a really cute style.   I only have one listed right now, but if you like it you can convo me and we can come up with a different pattern or size.  I use these on my baby and it is nice cause she know when she pees, but it doesn't run down her leg or all over the couch or my lap.    here is my etsy shop.  they are in the nifty nappy diaper section on the right.  http://www.vilatesniftynook.etsy.com

good luck!  If you want multiples just convo me and we can do a custom order with discounted shipping!
