Tiny cloth diapers

I started using cloth diapers when my son was 5 months old. He fit well into the Bum Genius and Haute Pockets one-size diapers. My question is - what brand of all-in-one or pocket diaper would you recommend for a newborn? I know that there is no way these diapers will fit on a tiny one! Has anyone used the Thirsties AIO newborn size? Any ideas would be so appreciated! Thank you!

I used the thirsties NB covers so if they are similar in sizing to the AIO's they should fit a newborn nicely with room to grow. My 9lb bub wore her thirsties cover from the day she cme home until around 3m old. A smaller OSFM fitted is the baby eco. Lovely and soft but wouldn't fit my son after he was around 10m.

I used prefolds with covers and also had some fitteds, my baby is now 3mo and use fitteds and wool or fleece covers most of the time I also have BG 3.0 for both boys to share.

vilate I can not get your link to work!! I like fitteds for newborns so I am no help!! I had a ton of AIO's with my youngest and every single one of them leaked on me so I shy away from them.

Good Luck

I didn't like thirsties aio but it was the old version. not sure if the new one is better. i do know lots of people use the kissaluvs fitted with thirsties covers for the NB stage. the NB kissaluvs are a two size so they fit till 20 lbs if that helps. or you may want to use prefolds for a few weeks. i think BG fits after 8 lbs or so.

Our son fit into the BumGenius from the start, but he was an over 8lb baby. We also used a combo of prefolds w/ covers, the X-Small Thirsties AIO - which was great (nap time we learned quickly, we needed to use a hemp insert though), but I will say, the Fab Fitteds have definitely been a favorite in the newborn stage!

We used the newborn size prefolds with bummis super whisper wraps or the proraps while our LO was a newborn. We didn't start until she was 10 days old and the umbilical cord had fallen off.

The BG should be ok with just the newborn insert.

I also us BG and Haute pcokets and have since my daughter was 4 weeks. She has always fit into both pretty well. I have only had one blow out with cloth diapers and always have leaks, etc with disposables. Unless, your LO was really small they should be fine.
I have a friend who used Kissaluvus contours and covers for her newborn and really liked them. I do have some kissaluvus's and covers, but find they are kinda bulky. the contours might be different.
