I just started cloth diapers and I am using prefolds with a cover. And I was just wondering what most of you prefer?

most of my covers, (all but one) have the little pocket/flap in the front. i just fold my prefold in thirds long ways, tuck one end in the pocket/flap, pull the cover up, straighten the back if need be, and the cover holds it in place. no pins, no snappi!

These are the two methods I use. Angel Wings worked great when my little one was really tiny (i.e. 5 lbs). The twist method worked better when his legs got a little chunkier because it allowed me to get a snugger fit around the thighs. Hope this helps.

Well, I am using prefolds as well. Recently started. I tried the fold it said to do with boys....and well I found that way too bulky I didn't like it. Also it was hard to get it on properly. But you can try it with a girl....Fold the diaper down, to make it the right length to fit in the cover. Then fold the right side and left side in, if it's a boy position the diaper with the extra in the front. If you have a girl position the extra in the back. That fold you don't need a snappi with. The fold I do that requires me to pin is....I lay the diaper flat, lay my son down on it, then fold the sides in. Bring it up, fold it down and pin the sides together. I believe that one is easy for me...not even sure if I am doing it right but hey it works for us. And I don't have anyone to show me how to do it. Sorry if my explaining was horrible....easier to just show you than tell you.
