Just a quick question. Do wool blends work the same as %100 wool.

I have seen some WAHM diaper cover that are for ex: 85 wool 15 spandax.

Would this defeat the purpose of wool or does it still work the same (not needing to be washed after every use, absorbability.. ect.............)

thanks!

Cory, sorry I am slow coming in to this one, but I will add my $.02  so you can use a mixute of blends, but as it has been stated you will have less absorbency, but mostly you will have to wash more often!  I try to go with 100% wool.

I've always used 100% wool.  I would assume they would work... just as you CAN make soakers out of acrylic... but the less the wool, the less absorbancy you will have.

I've used some that are 97/3 that work great. They just have a little more stretch to them. I would assume that 85/15 would still work, especially for daytime use.

I have heard that anything over 70% wool is supposed to work.  But I've never used less than100%. I think it would depend what it's mixed with.
