I know it's a common probablem for us parents who use cloth diapers to find clothes that fit. If there was a clothing line that taylored to cloth diapered babies, would you buy it?

I'd definitely be interested in checking out a CD clothing line. Particularly if the pants had snaps up the leg/crotch - that's been a big gripe for me - without them they're a pain to get on and off for diaper changes. I have one pair that has snaps, and I love them, and can't understand why they all don't. That's a big reason why I LOVE legwarmers for my bubs...outside of being adorable, they make diaper changes a breeze - and no problem with fitting over the tush!

Most of the clothes I have bought fit just fine with cloth diapers.

In a heartbeat!! My kids butt is huge without CD's on top of it and finding things that fit is almost impossible. Next size up usullay doesnt work because its way to long and now that he's walking he trips. I am so excited about that link!

Buying a size up doesn't work for us, though that's what I do. Joseph was premature, so he's legs are so teeny, he looks really silly in the next size up as the legs are far too loose. And now its getting cold, I've resorted to putting tights on him, as the trousers are so loose his legs get cold.

Cathy, thanks for the link! I've been looking for something like this and could never find it!
Jess- sorry you think it's so "ridiculous" but some moms, like me, still have problems with pants fitting over their diapers. If I buy a size up they are too large in the waist too long in the rise and still want to fall off. Aparently I'm not the only one with this issue. I am glad that buying the next size up is working for you.

Uhm, no. Cloth diapering is not THAT bulky. I find I use pants one size bigger than I might have if I used disposables. A clothing line for cloth diapered babies seems ridiculous.

There is a fairly successful company here in the UK doing just that. They focus a lot on producing organic clothing.

Hope that gives you some ideas!

I'd definitely buy trousers and shorts made for cloth diapered boys! I think there are more options for girls, I have threatened to put Joseph in a dress!

Maybe I should rephrase my question to, would you buy from a clothing line, not necessarily the whole line. Thanks for the comments so far!

I might buy a couple of pieces, but I doubt I could switch over fully to a line of clothes that could only be bought online. My family picks up stuff for us all the time, and we just size up to cover the bigger bum. Never had a problem with doing it that way. Plus when my son potty trained, he actually went back down a pants size, then re-grew into his CD size, so we got double use out of those outfits. :)

As a stay-at-home mom, price is a large factor. I would at least try it. I wouldn't decide to use it exclusively unless it really knocked my socks off, kwim?

a skirt/knickers combo is always good. Bloomers are cute. Realy easy to run up too.

Ok, this has just been a thought in my head. It will probably be a more 'cost friendly' line since I think a lot of moms cloth diaper for the savings. I would appreciate any comments or things you would like to see in baby clothes line. I would probably just start off with bottoms since that is the main problem. Thanks!!

depends on the price for access from Australia, and they'd need actual measurments, not just sizes.

Yes if it was easily accessable with a good return policy. I hate ordering clothes by mail then having them not fit and having to pay a bunch to return them.

Possibly, but there are so many variables, I think. I tend to like very high quality clothing and soft, stretchy fabrics. My husband prefers things that look "trendy." I buy a lot of clothes at Hanna Andersson (the wiggle pants do fit well over cloth dipes) and my hubs buys our son a lot of sweatpants and track suits at Baby Gap. But I know other parents would be most concerned about cost, and they might buy most of their kids' clothes at Target, Walmart or stores like that. It seems like if someone wanted to design a special clothing line they'd have to please a lot of people with it to get it to work...but it really is a good idea, especially with so many clothing styles now having that "skinny jeans" look and fit that just doesn't work at all over cloth diapers...
