Hi, I'm not new to the Springs, but it's always nice to meet new people. I love to hike too, especially in the warmer months! Been 240 miles so far and LOVE it! I am always up for a good hike and the kids are getting to that age (4 and 6) too (if it's not too cold). If anyone else is up to trying a hike, I am... let me know.

So I just got back from Christmas vacation and my goals for the new year are to shed the rest of the baby weight and meet new friends. Just wondering if anyone would like to meet up and go walking this week or whenever? I am a stay at home mom and I only know 2 girls here. One works and the other is out of town, so I am a little stir crazy to say the least.

Hi Christi, I am also new to Colorado Springs. You seem to have the outdoor life i only dream about. I am a student so I do have some daily obligations. I would love to meet with you and maybe be motivated to do more outdoors. I have 2 girls. Silver is 7 and LeiAsa is 3. The only out door thing we do is park and take our dog to the dog park.

Not sure what there is to do there either but if there's something going on there I don't mind driving (as long as the roads are good!) :)

Yea! I love the zoo here, but my little girl is still to young. I have heard that the Denver Zoo is really nice too. I love the traffic, or lack there of. LOL!!! My husand and I moved here a year ago from Orlando so we kind of know about traffic.

Thanks! I love the springs! There is sooooo much to do (when the weathers good). It's nice that it's so big but traffic is never too bad (I was born and raised in Sacramento, Ca and I will never go back there!) Most people I've met here have been really nice. My favorite part is the Zoo. We go about once a month sometimes more.
