Why is it so hard to meet sane females here in the colorado springs area? I have two children ages 2 and 4. My husband is currently deployed so I'm stuck at home finishing my AA in criminal justice and never get a break or any kind of "adult" time. It would be great to have some friends that are positive and know what they want in life. My schedule is pretty much empty so I have a lot of "free" time. Any other females that have kids would like to get together for a play date for the kids and have some adult convo?

HI Ladies :) I am a stay at home mom with two of my kids right now.. three and one. :) I would love to meet up with you both :) Also, I am getting ready (in the next few weeks) to be starting a playgroup. It is part of a NATIONAL playgroup and is very strict on the being positive and being nice.. so none of the cattiness you encounter in so many groups! I would love to discuss it with you both :) I know these are old posts but if you are still around I would love to chat :) Just PM me :) The group is www.momsclub.org Check it out and let me know. :) This is open to ALL OTHER moms too :) It is sectioned by area.. I have the entire South area (or will have in a few weeks lol) I have just this week started on the necessary steps to get started :)

I'm from the Springs and I'm an Army wife. My hubby is in Korea for a year :,-( I have 3 kid ages 4, 2, and 1. We are only sane by thhe grace of God while daddy is gone. LOL. I have found the same problem, so I started just hanging out with people from our church or the same faith, since we have many sister churches in the area. If you ever want to meet up at Focus on the Family, just shoot me a message on here. We are smoke free, drinking free, cussing free, and well....with kids there's no such thing as drama free. LOL.

I'm a SAHM/WAHM for 3 companies but I'm home most of the time and our homeschooling is put on hold until the new stuff comes in.
