Hello Myndi!

My name is Lindsay Aho and I'm a new mom looking to meet other moms too! I'm emailing because I'm assuming you gals do moms night out and I was curious if you gals might want to do mno "beauty school". I am doing one next month with another moms group and I'm soooo looking forward to it. A lot of the girls have been asking me hair and makeup advise (I am a licensed esthetician) and an all around girly girl! We are gonna learn about hair and makeup or whatever the girls want, have some munchies and a bonus the mall is coming to us and we are getting vault denim jeans there as well. Anyway...I'd love to do this for your group of Hot Mommas if your interested, I'd love to meet all of you and make more friends! Plus jeans and beauty are my two passions . Or if you prefer we can just do a "mall night", it's such a fun mno! Let me know your thoughts.

I would love to join your play group. I was having trouble finding the yahoo page though. I am a mother of a 2 year old boy and just found out a couple of days ago that I am pregnant again. I don't know a lot of people here with kids so I would like my son to get more interaction with other kids before his little brother or sister gets here! Hello, I am new to the area and have a 9month old boy. I was looking to find something for us to do once in awhile so that I could meet other moms. I do not know anyone in the area yet, and getting cabin fever! I seen in your last post that this group isnt active anymore, is there any suggestions you have for me? Hope to hear from you soon! Hi Jade,
Welcome to Colorado Springs!
Our Group had since moved to yahoo!groups, so be sure to click on the link in my newly edited post. ;)
The Group meets in all areas around town, randomly, there is no set date and time.
That said, after 8 years of being up and running, the Group is in a big "lull" right now. The moms that started up the Group have older, school aged kids now... and the ones with the younger children in our Group are busy as well... so the action is minimal. I WELCOME you to join the Group, meet those that are active and attend playdates and see if it's a good fit for you! If not, definitely look into meetup.com, more yahoo groups etc for another Group, there are MANY in The Springs! I have to say though, in MY humble opinion, this group is one of the most down to earth and welcoming groups out there.Good luck!
