Hi how are we all? It's been so long since I have heard from any of you. I miss you!
Just thought I would start an update on what we have all been doing. I am still working in Oncology just done my medication training so soon I will be able to give drugs. I have been on holidays as I was supposed to have a tonsilectomy as I have been diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnoea. I then have to have an op on my nose to open the airway. I didnt have the tonsilectomy as they ran out of time so now I am booked in for the 17th August.
My kids are great, growing up so fast. My eldest started to become a typical teenager and lie to us and wag school etc. We nipped that in the bud, she has been good since. My youngest daughter has to wear glasses now lol didnt realise she was so blind oops. Both my sons play rugby league now. Thomas is so cute in his footy gear. Colin plays netball also in the team that I coach. Both girls are playing too. they are all doing really well.
We just celerated Allans 50th Birthday it was a really great night.
I am madly saving now and fundraising to go to L.A, Las Vegas and San Fransisco in Oct. We are coming to play netball in a tournament in San Fran we will be the frist team from the southern hemisphere to play. So I am so excited. I also booked tickets for Garth Brooks whilst I am in Vegas.

wow Jaime I'm exhausted reading what you guys have been up to! sounds very busy. How is Matt's knee now?
I am so excited to go away in 19 days...it is going to be such a good break, I will miss my family although it will be nice to be on my own and not even really be contacted by phone every ten seconds lol

Hey Deb!
I was just thinking along the same lines, need a renuion/update! Glad to hear things are well in your part of the world! Wish I was able to join you in Vegas like I thought but plans have changed :(
Here goes at my update!
I am still working at VON as a visiting palliative care nurse, working full time and taking some courses. We had a beautiful summer weather wise here, we were able to spend alot of time swimming, boating, and heading to the beach. I played alot baseball through the week and tourny's on the weekend. We spent alot of time with friends celebrating summer life!!
In one of our baseball games, Matt blew out his knee (tore his ALC in his Rt leg) so now we are waiting for MRI's to determine how they will repair as he has already had the operation once. He is going to be out of commision for 6-8 weeks. AGGGGH Hoping the hospital will keep him for while.
Morgan played her first season of soccer and loved it. Maddy played ball hockey and had a blast. Kenz danced her way all through the summer.
We have now been back to school for a couple weeks (Maddy grade 4, Kenz grade 1, and Morg is a SK) getting back into the swing of things with making lunches and homework. Our activities have increased again this year... Maddy started playing on a traveling girls hockey team, Kenz is doing 5 competitive dances and some rec classes, Morgan is doing her 1st year of competitive dance and also rec classes, Matt is back boxing ( which he shouldn't be yet with a couple bad legs) and I am finishing up my baseball season and then volleyball starts in another week.
I think that is about it for an update on my crazy organized life, which is the reason I have hardly been on here at all. But still need an update on all my GREAT COM friends, the status updates on regular FB aren't enough sometimes.
