well I can carry on with this one now as it is getting hotter here!

Last weekend we packed up and went to my sisters wedding. It was great, the venue had a motel so we stayed in the one place for the whole weekend. We went to the beach and the waves were so strong it was throwing my fat ass around lol. I laughed so much that day. Then we came home for a day then packed up and went to my mums at the south coast. It was so lovely! I want to move there. We went fishing and swimming. I was the only one to catch anything (for once) My 4 yr old gainned some more confidence in the water. He and the others were jumpping off the jetty into the water..I got some great pics! This weekend is Kylie's birthday and 'new moon' comes out...so we will have another full weekend and it isnt even school holidays yet lol

SO my baby headed off to JK this morning, so this official ends our summer vacation. I can say we sure did make the most of it. We all had a blast, and now are looking forward to our many fall adventures; apple picking, pumpkin patches, nature hikes, leaf jumping. Having kids makes every adventure so much more fun.



How is everyone doing?? I haven't gotten on here much, kinda lost interest I keep reading the same stuff over and over. Drop me a line if you get a chance, need to catch up with quite a few of my CoM peeps...xoxo

So here is a little glimpse into our summer vacation since I last posted. The girls have all finished there weeks at camp (dance camp, reading camp. sports camp), we have had lots of kids over for play dates, lots more boating & tubing and swimming every day (the lake has finally reached 80 degrees, which means I will venture in to my waste) celebrated with good friends at a couple weddings, spent a hot day at wild water kingdom, Kenzie ran her 1st triathalon and placed 7th, did a photo scavenger hunt.
Now we are gearing up for back to school (shopping!!!), and our end of summer family trip to Santa's village, oh and Matt is taking the girls camping this weekend and I get to stay home all by myself ;). We are definately squeezing in a couple "PJ" days before school starts and our CRAZY schedules return!!

I am fortunate that I haven't had to work much this summer, so I have tons of time to spend with the girls. We sleep in everyday, then get going on our activities. We are a busy family, not much for sitting around relaxing. By the end of the month I am sure we will be ready to slow it down a bit..LOL

That sounds like a really great tat! How can you be doing all that stuff? dont you want to just relax? lay around? enjoy a sleep in and PJ day? I love PJ day's (pyjamas) watch movies. Turn the air con up and sit under a doona...hehehe I love it. Anyway we have had 2 weeks of holidays and all I have managed is visiting my sisters and going to the movies. This week we are watching football and the movies again. But between work and house work, paying bills and shopping thats all we have time for.

Im glad you are having a ball and I hope it gets warmer for you!

We are loving our summer (just not necessarily the weather), we are hanging out with lots of friends, playing lots of baseball, "hood" campfires, taking our new boat out to the sand bars and many beaches, trips to the zoo, water parks and can't forget our days at the barn. You name it and we are cramming it into our summer vacation. The girls are loving the fact of me being home alot more (we now work 12 hour shifts).

Now we just need to bring on the heat!!!

Another memory!

This afternoon I went and got my foot tattoo finished off. I know have 5 stars on the top of my left foot symbolizing my family. Each star gets smaller and the coulour is significant to each person. My good friend also got her first tattoo right after my appointment, she maybe addicted now.......

Another memory to add to my summer journal!

This past weekend my husband and girls threw me a big surprise 30th birthday party!

I left to play ball in the afternoon (on Sunday) came home to have tons of people hiding out on my deck. I guess my husband had planned this party a couple of months ago inviting all our friends, family, ball team and girls from my work. I couldn't believe the amount of people that were here. We had a great afternoon, a great BBQ tons of food and tons of laughsand a huge campfire!! Too bad I had way too much to drink the night before, or I am sure I would of had a few drinks to celebrate.

Boy I sure found my pot of gold in my leprachaun!!

Well a summer journal is something I have always kept myself since having kids. I want my kids to always have the memories of things they have done. I actually keep it all year round, not just the summer months. I refer to it when I do my scrapbooking as well. Keeps my mind refresh, since old age is kicking and I forget things at times.

So if you dont mind I would add my first weeks entry here as well. It will be nice to see what everyone is up to over the summer months(well for us who are actually having summer now)that is.

Summer started for us on Friday. Tanner had a End of the Year Pool/ pizza party. He invited 8 friends to our for some fun and food. It was crazy having all those boys here!

Saturday we had Kadens soccer game in the morning and then the boys had a Birthday Party in the afternoon. Sunday was a crappy day weather wise so we took the boys to the Lego outlet in St. Jacobs. They got to build lego cars and race them, see all the things built with Lego and then they got to pick out some new lego to buy and bring home. We had company over for a barbq in the late afternoon when the weather cleared up.Monday and Tuesday were work days and today I am taking the kids I have in care plus my kids to the Canada Day Parade and the Festival at Riverside Park. Tomorrow and friday are work days and then its the weekend. Saturday morning is Kadens Soccer and in the afternoon another birthday party for one of Kadens friends, Saturday night is date night and Sunday is one of our nephews Birthday so yet again another party. Oh the joys of summer. Gotta love it!!!



Oh and Jaime turning 30 isn't a big deal. Its only a number. Just think back to when you were a kid you probably thought 30 was old and now you are almost there. Its not really that old now is it?!! I had a harder time turing 25 then I did 30, and now that 40 is creeping around the corner in a couple of years, I don't mind that age either. I think 50 will be the real turning point though, because thats half a century old. Now to me that is scarey! Like you and many people have said its how old you feel. And to this day I still feel 21(well most days anyway). Its nice still being carded for the bars and cigarettes when I am almost 40.

Its winter here. It is very cold and bucketed down today. lol

Jeff and I went to a little town called Hahndorf at the wk end for our time away.

went to see Hangover..what a hoot. Molly is doing work experience this week. 1st week of holidays, at a child care centre. She is in the baby room lol lol lol. she thinks they smell bad. Next week she is doing community service for 3 days as part of her South Australian Certificate of Education. sucks really, too much for school hols i think...

the following week she is going on a camp. that will be great.

I sam catching up with heaps of friends b/c i havent had time with college etc.

dont spew but Molly and I are also watching multiple episodes of the Gilmore girls...
