I want to share a home school alternative with circle of moms. I am a mother of six children (4 boys and two girls). All of our children have completed traditional school, college or are currently in college except for our youngest son Michael. MIchael is a sophomore in high school. Michael has had to have surgery on his knee three times-two this last year along with took away from his school time. Michael is also a Migraine sufferer and the stress from falling behind in his work at school increase dhis migraines. So one night I was laying in bed watching tv and said a prayer. Honestly before my eyes there was a commercial for insight school. Not all states currently have insight schools but before long they will be available. Insight school is an on line home schooling program for high school students. The school provides the lap top pc, printer, books etc and funding for DSL up to $15.00 a month. Insight is a public school funding by the state-just like a public brick and mortar school. Online schooling is not a part time school-it require dedication, work and parent involvement So far Michael is keeping up with his studies even though he is away for a day or two due to PT and migraines. Just wanted to put a "head up" about an insight school that is available or might be come available in your state soon. .
