Couponing is my Hobby or I guess more like a lifestyle. I'd be lost without it. I started a little of 2 years ago and hold a stockpile in my house worth over $100.000 and let me tell you it's worth the time and energy I put into it. Not only is my family provided for , so is my extended family and friends, coworkers also local churches and food banks. Couponing to me is a skill and if you work hard at it each time you go you will get better and better. Trust me I know what your thinking sure she makes it seem easy but I just can't seem to figure it out. I WAS THAT LADY BEFORE ALSO. But I worked hard studied how to do it for 6 months yea I'm not kidding 6 months on top of being a full time mother , housewife, district manager to a hospital and the crafty cooking mom I am everyday... So after studying atleast 2 hours everyday for 6 months.. I went on my first haul or so they call it. I saved a little over $50.00 I thought I was queen of that grocery store. That little bit of savings kicked up some energy and I studied more. Trip after trip I would save more and more. I couldn't get enough like an addiction that was paying me ( clearly my husband loved this idea a shopaholic wife that didn't spend money ) I have my binder , I follow all the rules and I just match up the deals eventually you figure out the science to it. My local grocery store runs the same deals every two weeks. Then there the stores that are good deals at everyday prices. .. I'll stop here I'm rambling on and getting all hyped up to share my love of saving money with all of you. Im new to circle of moms but Ive been blogging for years. I'm gonna update some deals and tell you how I can help you get to where I am . I love seeing people couponing like me .. WHO wants to Pay full price - SAID NOBODY EVER!

Well, I started couponing about a year ago, because my family don't have a lot of income. I have to be honest. I read book after book and blog after blog before I tried anything. We just moved to Ok so now I have to learn all new set of rules here. We didn't have double couponing in ID, so now I need to sit back and learn Oklahoma. Sadly, before we moved, because we only took what we could fit in our van, I gave away my stockpile. I was able to help out 5 families though by doing it. That made me feel great! But, I do wish that I knew people here in OKC that did it also so that I can have someone to do this with.

I think this is great!!! I had to laugh at this cause I do the same thing myself. I added up all of our receipts from last week, (our local store had some really great deals that was worth shopping everyday for lol) and we got over $1,000 in items (groceries, pharmacy, health and beauty) and out of pocket we paid $29.38 :) But we also got back $68 from Ibotta and $80 in gift cards to the store from a promotion that they were running. My friends laugh and my kids call me the coupon queen, but I always find that it's easier to have other people to do this with because you might miss a deal or they might miss a deal. I think that helping eachother out is great. I remember my first coupon trip, I saved a little over $200 and only paid $5 out of pocket...from that point forward I was hooked. My kids help me, my honey helps me, and if I didn't have my couponing idk what I would do half the time lol ...
