I want to start the whole coupon clipping business. I've watched the shows on TV and have seen the insanse savings you can achieve and I want in !! My question is where the heck do you start? The savings of over $1000 in groceries for only $6, is this something that has to happen over time or could I do this on my next grocery trip? Also where do you get all the awesome coupons? I have signed up on a couple of the product supplier websites and some coupon websites but other than that, where do you generally recieve coupons? Thanks for the help with getting started !!

Okay, that makes sense. I don't have a problem going generic or switching brands when needed. Thanks again.

I saved that much from coupons and from my reward card, its hard to find coupons for each item that is on your grocery list sometimes you have to buy generic brands instead of the brand your use too, to maximize your savings

Mary, when you were saving and paying only dollars out of pocket, was this by having a coupon for every item on your list? It's not as easy as simply making a grocery list and finding coupons for each product you wish to buy is it?

I only started couponing a month ago, i started clipping the sunday paper, then signed up on sites of products that i regularly use like gain detergent, and folgers coffee they send you coupons and free samples through the mail, my first coupon experience i saved $83.75 at Winn Dixie and only paid $5 out of pocket, and $86.63 at Publix and a $3 out of pocket expense, all the coupon blogs say is not to get overwhelmed start out small and work your way up to the 1000 dollar in coupons, couponmom, krazycouponlady,p&g, redplum are good for printable coupons, other than that i wish you luck
