Andrea, I am trying to get into a Family Nurse Practioner program right now. So,are you an Acute care neonatal NP or you don't have to be an Acute care to work inpatient? I was wondering how that worked? There's so many different tracks and things you can do, its overwhelming trying to figure out which way to go!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished! After being a mother-baby, pedi, and then NICU nurse for about 10 years I went back to school and got my master's/Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I finished in May 08 and currently work in a 100+ bed level 3 NICU. Go back! It's worth it.
